Call of Duty 2016 - Includes COD4 remaster

COD4 seems broken FPS wise right now its all over the shop goes from smooth to very laggy. Huge letdown it starts strongly on the classic boat mission then suddenly the FPS are broken something is not right with the game even using latest Nvidia drivers & disabled AA. My GTX1080 is not even going above 37% Fan RPM yet the game FPS wise is badly broken!

I disabled all the precache & preload settings as well as use Extra VRam but it makes no difference something is badly wrong internally the game does not appear to be working correctly so much for the QA & Nvidia launch drivers for this game

Umm something weird going on here.

IW runs absolutely fine, nice and smooth.

MWRM lags like hell with vsync enabled, all movement lags slightly behind the controls for some reason. If I turn off vsync then the lag disappears but the framerate seems really low, certainly nothing like IW.

What gives? How can the old remaster be running slower than the new game? Can I get an FPS counter in MW to check the actual framerate?
MWR is broken for many large thread forming on Steam seems to be a bug around certain menu settings but no-one has been able to solve it yet I think the game needs serious patching & launched with minimal QA its not even using my GTX1080 at all ingame yet lags all over the place & is unplayable the main menu appears frozen but its just very laggy

Having the same issues with RM, just lags constantly. Also I cant seem to install the new 16.11.2 AMD Driver on my HD7950's for some reason, are they compatible?

I've bitten the bullet and got it, seems to be running alright on my rig. Just has a stutter as the map loads and the mouse sensitivity options are whack, other than that it's fine.

Still got it :D

Have you turned supersampling off?

Have you turned Supersampling AA off?
Never had either on to begin with. 1st level worked fine then suddenly lagged & now the entire game is lagging I have given up for now it takes a few mins just to open the menus to quit it! I think the vsync or internal FPS timer is broken somewhere

Please upvote if this helps.
I'm hoping this works for you all because after every attempt I made after searching reddit and the rest of the internet for fixes I decided to try something. So here it is.
Delete your players2 folder.
Open Catalyst Control Center.
Click on gaming tab.
Set Shader Cache to AMD Optimized (this is major)
Set Texture Filtering Quality to Performance (minor improvement)
Now click Global OverDrive. And max out your GPU Power Limit (Warning: Adequate cooling required. This is not overclocking, it is simply allowing your GPU to draw more power usage when needed)
Click Apply.
Launch MWR.
Cancel the Shader Cache prompt (this is a must, do not let the game cache them for you. Let your GPU do it.)
The following are my in game settings. You may tweak them as you please. Some of you may be able to run the game better or worse than me so adjust accordingly. These settings should hold you over until we get a patch.
Click Optimal Video (F2)
Now change the following:
Native Render Resolution: Off (Manually set your render resolution. I use 1920x1080 in FULLSCREEN)
Texture resolution: High
Normal Map Resolution: High
Specular Map Resolution Low (This can be major for some rigs.)
Fill Remaining Memory: Off (Still testing this)
Anisotropic Filtering: Low
Shadows: Off (big improvements for older cards)
Depth of Field: Off
Depth Prepass: Off (important!)
Turn off all ANTI-ALIASING. (Turning these on add mouse input lag).
Dynamic Light Limit: 2
My setup: (CPU) AMD FX-8350
(GPU) XFX R9 390
(RAM) 8gb 1600mhz
Everything else is basic.
Tweak according for your own preference. I don't mind these graphics settings for a smoother playback. I will continue to test them though and update when I find out more information.
It has taken me all day trying numerous tweaks and adjustments and some helped, but none were as beneficial as this. Let me know how you all make out.
Good luck!

This got my at 91 fps steady on a 390./

Also just had a domination on shipment. Well that was ****ing epic haha
