Like you said previously. They don't care about PC gaming. Consoles is where they're focusing.

Not had any issues personally, my NAT type is moderate though. I've never, ever been able to get COD games to show Open NAT.
 
I normally prefer the SAS missions to the US ones cos they’re so OTT, it almost becomes a bit of a chore constantly mowing down seemingly infinite multi-spawning enemies but ‘Shock and Awe’ is pretty awesome. Epic mission from start to finish. Great fun.
 
Anyone else getting really poor performance with SLi? Even with no AA (they have warnings for SLi users) I get 50-60 fps on 2x 970s both showing 100% usage. As soon as I turn SLi off it runs at a constant 91 at the same settings...
 
Sli is totally broken for me, runs like a pig with both cards. I can only get decent performance with one card and all the shader stuff turned off. Game still stutters for a min at start of every round though. Total mess of a release.
 
Nice to know its not just me...

I agree though this game has had a disgusting release, totally regret sinking £45 on both.

sold cod4 on own for £10. that alone would have sold a very lot of copies even nay sayers would have brought in.you would have a big player base.then add in modding.anyone who played the original knows that mods basically made the game.

promod.zombie mods all sorts.

comp scene.with promod could have got leagues ladders and big stuff happening.creating the esports hype. which there isnt many games for.

its like a missed golden oppurtunity.

especially with cod people struggling for ideas.would have boosted the flagging pc side back up and given life to the old gameplay style.

i still personally think with promod its miles better than csgo in every way.better to watch and play.crazy.

if it sells they will do it.whats weird is it doesnt seem to matter what people actually like to what sells.

like for eg the fans favourite game from the cod list is probably cod4 aka modern warfare 1 yet the biggest total selling cod is....drum roll.......


modern warfare 3 !!!! :eek::D

which i would list personally as one of the worst ! gameplay wise.
 
Yeah but it's not just gamers who buy COD - it's so widely known even girlfriends and wives buy it (kindly, if sometimes misguidedly) for people. My sister bought me COD one Christmas - it's so expensive I couldn't tell her I didn't like it anymore!
 
This has to be the biggest collective 'meh' to a COD release, I've not really seen that many people talk about it online, it's mainly Titanfall 2 and BF1. I wonder if they try a complete reinvention next year or more of the same... probably more of the same.
 
I seem to be the only person really enjoying this game :D

Does anyone here play the multiplayer? Maybe want to join up and get a few games in at some point?
 
Am loving it, just like the old days. make me sad the direction they went after this :(

PC community is very small though and thats the biggest issue I have right now! how long will Online last? 1.4k online right now gets to around 4k very small

They made a massive mistake releasing this with IW should have been a standalone copy priced around £25 with PC features it would have sold like hot cakes.

instead they went into deep with high priced packages no wounder sales are down!! who ever is making these choice at Activision needs sacking! they could have made so much more money.

Disappointed by the COD4 remaster. Just wasn't how I remember it unfortunately (multiplayer that is), not sure what it is I can't put my finger on it. Rose-tinted glasses and all that I guess.

Ah well back to BF1.
 
really disappointed by the remaster, was a massive fan of cod4 when it came out originally. For me this runs like crap and online is dead unless you like playing TDM or domination (ive managed to find 3 headquarters matches since the game has been released)
