Call of Duty 2016 - Includes COD4 remaster

I can see them charging an astronomical amount of money for this.

It completely stinks that you may have to purchase the next in the series to play a remastered version. But of course everyone will lap it up.

Black op's 3 is pretty much the only purchase I've ever regretted buying so I'm not really too keen on this new one.

Legacy Edition and Digital Legacy Edition – Includes both Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, SRP $79.99.

Digital Deluxe Edition – Includes Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and Season Pass, SRP $99.99.

Legacy Pro Edition – Includes Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, Season Pass, collectible Steelbook, official game soundtrack and additional digital items, SRP $119.99.

£50 odd quid for the legacy edition aint too bad for 2 whole games, which will have lots of content, and Zombies mode again is being made for Infinite Warfare.

I regretted Black Ops 3 at first, but now I love it just for Zombies, and dev tools for customs maps soon, so it'll be as good as WaW with the longevity part.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered boasts vibrant current generation visuals, with fully improved texture resolution and detail, high-dynamic range lighting, lit and shadowing VFX particles, revamped animation and audio, stunning sound, and much more. Fans will relive the full, iconic campaign as they’re transported around the globe with Capt. Price, Gaz and Soap across all the missions from the original game, including “All Ghillied Up,” “Charlie Don’t Surf,” and “Crew Expendable.” Players will also experience the online multiplayer mode that redefined Call of Duty by introducing killstreaks, XP, Prestige and more, and battle head-to-head in 10 fan-favorite maps from the original multiplayer mode, including classics such as “Crash,” “Backlot” and “Crossfire.”

The amount of fun I had on cod4 back in the day was unbelievable. Such good times.. I am looking forward to replaying the campaign and multiplayer once more.

Ah it does include MP cool - one of the few games I was genuinely good at heh (though largely that was because silenced AK47 :S).

It still means I'll have Infinite Warfare, which I don't want (And I'm guessing many others).

the last CoD game I enjoyed was Black op's, the later 2 with all these pink weapons and crap people plaster over them just really didn't do anything for me.

I see no reason why they need to include a "remastered" version with their new game as most will either play one or the other.

Yeah I get what you are saying. I'm hoping it does get released separate.

I LOVED COD4 when it came out and played it a ton with mates and random gamers on xbox live. It was like everyone was playing it, everyone was talking about it and it was a very good and enjoyable experience.
That being said, the whole social aspect and the excitement the game invoked in people back then will no longer be there I feel, and it is a game I played so much I just don't really have the desire to play it again.

I'd love to see them struggle to make the numbers, but kidz will lap it up and they'll continue to botch deals like this together.

It is really quite sad that they cannot sell it seperately with updated textures. (unless they will, in which case woop :D)

Legacy edition is £80 for Xbox/PS4 on Amazon, PC version of the Legacy edition isn't listed yet but the standard is £15 cheaper.

Also they said that you cannot play Cod 4 without owning Infinite Warfare and it won't be sold standalone but knowing Activision I wouldn't be surprised if they released it standalone later on to get even more money.

hopefully dedicated servers and modding allowed on remastered what was it pro mod or something .

more interested in remastered then the new thing hopefully can buy separately as cod for me died when they messed up mw 2

Bit of a joke how only 10 out of CoD 4s 20 maps are included...

And I'm not keen on paying £60+ for this either. Last few CoDs have been bad PC ports

not even that old to remaster.

Even if you did have fun playing it, It wont be the same & your falling into the developers hands to copy/paste & get money

Developers put money into story,Maps,Graphics,Code

Remaster all your getting is "graphics"
They just redo the maps exactly the same with new "HD" graphics a charge you another £50? that will be bull.

Maybe if they sell it for £15.

Doing almost no work & sucking you dry
To me this remaster is worth no more than £20 maximum and I would pay it if it was the actual price but no, they always take so much ££££ for a freaking copy & paste game so I'm not even bothering with a new cod when it's coming out, there are far superior games I can spend my cash on rather than on a crappy & ****** game which is released year after year.

To be honest with you, you could get a free "Remaster" of COD4 if you would put together a team of a few really good & talented modders who know what they do and would be release for free as well.

Showing a monkey balls each year to a COD makers is the way to go in my opinion :D

Yeah I get what you are saying. I'm hoping it does get released separate.

Goddamit, It's cos they have smelled the business in a successfully made COD4, that's all is to it and why not make the price even higher on the way by adding more crappy COD which is released every year and get a fortune out of it ? They simply don't care about player but rather more $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

20??
I thought it was 16 total
Some were added for free in PC DLC (1.6 and 1.7 patches I think), but the original 20 were:

◾Ambush
◾Backlot
◾Bloc
◾Bog
◾Broadcast
◾Chinatown
◾Countdown
◾Crash
◾Creek
◾Crossfire
◾District
◾Downpour
◾Killhouse
◾Overgrown
◾Pipeline
◾Shipment
◾Showdown
◾Strike
◾Vacant
◾Wet Work

I wonder which will make it into the remake.
