Call of Duty 2016 - Includes COD4 remaster

Oh lord this game looks like yet another dog ****.

Its just looks so dated and boring, theres just no stopping them churning out the same old rehashed **** year after year.

That's why the remastered cod4 servers will be full and infinite will be infinitely empty !!

I'd actually love for them to get rid of that. 2 frags, maybe. 3 was just ridiculous.

Looking forward to checking this out at some point. The remaster is way beyond what most 'remasters' are. It's basically a total remake in terms of graphics.
 
It's a shame that they have so far confirmed that you have to buy the "legacy" edition of the new game to get the CoD4 remaster. They probably would have just been better off making a CoD4 remaster this year in the first place!

I feel pretty confident that we'll see a standalone version once its usefulness of boosting sales of infinite warfare has expired. Probably within a few months after its release.

I don't mind the 3 frags it's all part of the game.

It's good that it looks like a total rebuild of the game I just hope everything stays the same, just prettier

Used to play COD4 religiously for about 4 years at competitions/events online (promod). The remastered version will look great, but I hope it includes mod abilities as before so Promod can come back to life. I also hope that they left the controls alone and it includes lean (for some reason they took that function out of the newer games)

well its how you look at it.

we all know cod is almost on its knees for ideas.in the past they have took ideas from mods. infact most of the best ideas are from previous cod mods that made it into the proper game.

so we all know modding isnt business friendly but...if they do it for future ideas wise they may do it.

was talking with a cod 4 modder i know yesterday who made one of the most popular mods for cod 4 on pc. he said that he doesnt think they will release the tools but if they did he would think about doing something.

They won't release it as a stand alone, they'd be stupid to.

What's going to sell Infinite is having CoD4 bundled with it, otherwise no one will buy Infinite...
