RPS reporting you need 50GB space available on the HDD :O
I doubt that, that would mean they would need about 7 DVDs for the 360 version.

last proper game that Activision made was Cod4 after that they stopped caring for the COD community and went more with the "fun" public games rather then competitive ones... miss the old Cod2/4 times :/
Screams marketing hype.
See, as a Quake player i would consider all COD games 'fun public games' lol. I do get what you mean though am just being a bit of an elitist tit.
Thing that winds me up is that they rehash this game every year with some diff skins/maps/perks and people cant wait to lap it up. Why would they bother doing anything innovative when all the casuals/console gamers will fill their pockets.
My brother (a console gamer) bought some bloody pack that came with a radio controlled helicopter for 100 odd quid? why? jesus.
I doubt that, that would mean they would need about 7 DVDs for the 360 version.
It doesn't though does it? The PC version will have extremely large, higher quality textures compared to the 360/PS3 version, thus the large disk space requirement.
just save money play cod 4 its 6 quid if you haven't already got it. still stacked with people and almost perfect fps gameplay. the hit reg is still probably the best in any fps.
An extra 40 GB worth of textures though?
This is a thread for ghosts, I'm sure people would play cod4 if they wanted to play cod4.
Audio as well. PS3 version will be probably at least 25GB because it can do high quality audio.
That seems conjecture at the moment especially considering that the PS3 version of Black Ops 2 was 15GB. If the game has a 50GB install IW must have seriously cocked up somewhere as it would be one of the largest game installs ever. Lets be realistic as well, how much content will be in the game? A short campaign with 15 or so multiplayer maps, I can't see how they would fill 50 GB.
I think those NVIDIA specs may be true. For a few years now pc gamers have been begging devs to stop giving us dumbed down 360/ps3 ports. Maybe with these next gen ports we will finally see a big jump in quality. Don't think the 360 version will require 7 DVDs though as it will be a much inferior version.

Also at the bottom of that article it's noted that the ps4 killzone is close to 50GB. Is it a case of be careful what you wish for with smallish ssd's and recommeded GTX 780?
An extra 40 GB worth of textures though?
One word; nonsense!!
