** Call of duty ghosts (MW4) **

Won't be wasting anything on this. OMG Dogs because they haven't been in games before etc etc

they compared MW3's multiplayer dogs to ghost's singleplayer dogs where they've put effort into the models and tried saying its improved because of the new engine/ next gen tech. lol

can tell from the reveal who the target audience is.

12 year old noobs

So CoD has finally joined the 21st century and made a new graphics engine. About ******* time! Too bad other games have been there for years (crysis series, bf3, metro etc).

The bummer is, it will be the same old CoD gameplay - aka nothing new - just wrapped in pretty graphics for the kids to blow £50 on. Ploughing money into the pockets of a developer that will just make a sequel...and another one...and another one....and another one......................and another one...

Looks like the same engine only tweaked. The water looked awful where it was flowing through that town and so did the waterfalls. The texture may have extra res and crispness to them, but I am not sold. Notice how in the Xbox One presentation video they tried hard to really convince people that it was a whole new engine by drawing comparisons with older textures...

I think that looks pretty good being honest.

I have actually enjoyed the single player in every COD thus far anyway, and as a predominantly single player gamer, I for one am looking forward to this.

Have to saw DG that the 'new' engine does not look that new.

I take this back actually. I watched the behind the scenes video and it actually looks like they have done some work! Looking forward to the E3 footage.

I'm actually going to be staying in LA only a stones throw from the E3 convention centre so I might go check it out for myself!

i have read a few articles this morning and there does indeed seem to be a lot of work gone into the new engine not just a "tweaked " engine as some suggest.

few interesting things i noted

Maps — which players can modify themselves — can also experience weather events, like an earthquake or flood that changes the terrain. Players can knock down buildings for cover, or they can even enter a room, pull the door shut behind them and break off the handle

they also have a special part of the engine which is what pixar uses for rounding things of perfectly which sounds cool

there is a lot extra it isn't a tweaked engine maybe people may believe this now :D

one thing that immediately made me laugh was the vaulting such a simple thing to do and i have mentioned this in bf3 so many times (how its literally impossible to nail every jump in bf3 cause of stupid animations) and finally someone notices how important it is . simple things like this make games.
