Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (2022)

You can get a kitted out sniper rifle blueprint (Watchdog 141)5 attachment MCPR-300, if you leave your pc watching Twitch for 1hr. Just find someone livestreaming with drops (xclusiveace for example).
 
Servers are seriously laggy this afternoon for me, I had to stop playing as every match felt like I had Parkinson's :(
 
Single player is beautiful on a SX, only played the first few missions but good so far

Co op is also good although lacking a little with missions

UI, as said previously is abysmal and I can’t save any of the showcase options.
 
How do you get to the screen to see all the available multiplayer modes? My eyesight must be much worse than I thought, as I can hardly read the screen.

With quick play selected there should be a button prompt for filter. I think it's X on Xbox
 
The first match I got into last night it had PC players using M&K so I just quit and turned cross-play off. Cross-play should go on whichever input people are using.
That border crossing map is one of the worst maps ever made. It's awful.
Last night on the Embassy map I had a player spawn right in front of me. Then later on I spawned in the same spot in front of a player on the other team. That shouldn't be happening.
Infinity Ward really hate stealthy players. Both Ghost and Dead Silence aren't unlocked til after level 50.
 
Odd, I thought matchmaking only matched on input type. Could be wrong, I've only noticed other controller players.

Edit: Apparently I'm wrong and probably not paying attention :p

What CoOp things can you do? Last time I played was the original MW2 and really enjoyed the SpecOps missions with my friend. I haven't played a COD since then, and heard this one had SpecOps but it only has THREE missions?!

Is that the only cooperative part of the game?

Just spec ops type missions at the moment, of which there are 3 - correct
 
I have played a few FFA games and enjoyed them. The graphics are good, and I can jump in when I have 30 minutes spare for a couple of games. I'll have to test out the other game modes. I don't like the ones where you don't respawn.

On another point, I turned off cross-play, but it never filled up the game, so I turned it back on. Curious if others are having problems getting into a game with no cross-play?

This is on the Xbox Series X.
 
Just trying to double check with people here as I know the internet can be full of misinformation... the game is full cross-play? I am wanting to play on PC with my friend that will be playing on a PS4.

I know some cross-gen games are limited to PC/Current-Gen consoles.

I'm the same, I tend to just keep the quickly set to FFA and TDM. Enjoying it.
 
I've played a bit of MP now, around level 21, mostly leveling up the battle rifle that unlocks the MP5. I just started playing through the single player on veteran, enjoying it so far but i've only played through to Amsterdam. Wet Work was fun getting to the barge undetected + getting the 3 kills from under water achievements.

I'll give the Co-Op a try at some point, i enjoyed playing Spec Ops on MW2019.
 
Completed the Campaign, it has some good ideas in place but the pace of the game is all over the place. I found the sneaking , crafting sections in particular seem out of place, they just slow the whole tempo down, especially in the later scenes. Hopefully they're done away with in any DLCs.

I've got crossplay off on PS5 and every game I've been in has been full.
