It’s tough going solo, the AI are brutal. You have to play slowly if you’re on your own.
I go in alone for the weapons, but have joined randoms with good games, just going contract to contact looting on the way. Extracted a few times around the 25 min point.

Is there a certain location you need to go for the weapons you want or do they just drop randomly from ai and if it’s one you haven’t unlocked, you grab it and get to extract?
They're random in the crates as far as I can tell. the strong holds and orange crates have better things normally. Out of the 5 I hadn't unlocked in MP, 3 snipers & marksman rifles have appeared at buy stations. I found the x13 pistol in a normal crate.
I'm still trying to find a SA-B 50, I check each buy Station I'm near, no luck yet.

I’m enjoying DMZ now I’m getting used to it. Playing with randoms though is 50/50 getting a good group. Last match tonight though it was great and managed to complete the stronghold mission and all of us extract.
I found the SA-B 50 in a crate on the train (loads of orange and yellow weapon boxes on there).
Unfortunately I died on the extract chopper, i was fighting to get on with a 2 squad team (1 min left on timer) me and one of the other team were waiting to revive in the chopper as it took off, his team mate finished me off before the extract screen, lol.
Got on the train twice more, but it had been cleared out once, other time it wasn't in the crates.
I've almost leveled up the rifle that unlocks it now to get it normally, just sniping AI in DMZ. It quite relaxing for a COD game!
I'm about 50% through legion tier 2 missions at the moment, haven't started on White Lotus tier 1's yet.

Just thinking at an extract you could speak to enemy teams then and all settle on an extraction without killing one another.

Did you have to buy two copies of the game? My son and I both have Ultimate and I want to get the game, I just don't want to have to buy it twice. Is it still a faff to share games in the household?
Yeah pretty much, you have AI all over the shop with strong holds and other player squads kicking about. You have missions to complete and "loot" to extract.
It gives decent XP and your guns level up in there also but you won't always have a gun you actually want.
Had a couple games of Warzone earlier, we were all just getting lag and it even lagged out and kicked everyone at one point. Didn't see anything of interest while playing really, just sinking a million bullets into folk.
No, we gameshare - just one copy between us. Gamesharing is dead easy, just have the two profiles on each console and set the other Xbox as your home Xbox. If that makes sense? It was that long ago that we set it up I can't remember

Not played either but DMZ is great fun, the AI are very good and tactical, and nice that online players are around as well to mix it up. Not even played warzone mode yet, if it's anything like previous its just sponge magnet fighting, where as DMZ has a bit of a mix of armoured enemies and regular.
I just had a good game with some randoms, managed to extract with some good gear, although I forgot what I extracted with and the cod menus suck so bad that I have no clue what is new in my armoury.

I ended up unlocking the SA-50 B from leveling up the other Marksman rifle to level 13 yesterday. Mostly in DMZ.
The Radioactive waste mission is easy solo. I'll try the SAM site one tonight. I've started it with randoms but they didn't hang around for it to shoot down a plane, then secure the cargo.
I'm enjoying DMZ more the normal multiplayer at the moment. Haven't touched warzone at all yet.

The SAM site mission is do-able solo too, there's a SAM site on the top of multi-story carpark SW of the map. You don't get over run when you're capturing it. The mission didn't track though, so i'll have to do it again..
There was a Sniper rifle in the drop i collected, you get two before the SAM site goes offline.
