3rd person mode is epic! Just like playing SOCOM back in the day, I hope they release search & destroy or non-respawn like game mode to make it even better.

1sr game of DMZ and had no clue what was going on but was fun

2nd game was Warzone and loads of fun graphics look much improved

I think footstep audio has increased or I was playing against wall hackers last night. Will try headphones tonight to see.

I'll have a go in DMZ tonight to try to grab the new M13B.

Kill a chemist in the hazard zone and pick up the blueprint and extract to be able to use the gun in multiplayer. A bit of an odd choice to get a new multiplayer gun TBH

And what's that mission about 'Use your Tac-Map and ping a contract phone'? That means nothing to me

On the map will be a green circle with a phone in, that's a contract phone. Find it and use the ping function on it. I found the whole of it bloody confusing!

I'm going to try it solo, I've seen people on YouTube just running the chemist over, grabbing the blueprint then driving off

It's not 100% the old Hardcore though, which is a little annoying. You get zero notifications, so no hit markers, no indication you've made a kill, no kill feed or prompt you've reached a kill streak etc

Yeah it's a little sparse, the sound indication for a kill is enough I think and you just have to keep an eye on the right for your streaks. Throwing grenades is annoying though as there is no marker.

Anyone got the M13 from the DMZ yet? Finding it a bit of a chore, ive tried going straight to the radiation area at the start of every drop but there's always lots of other players there plus the AI is brutal. Seen some guides online saying to run him over but me/my vehicle gets melted so quickly. Bit lame the weapon is locked behind this mode tbh.

Doing this solo is tough.

I tried it solo, managed to kill him in a truck and thought I'd killed everyone nearby. Nope, hopped out of the truck to pick up the gun and got melted

It didn't help that I was unarmed as I had no contraband weapons left to start with haha

Luckily my son had already got the gun so we just started a new game, he dropped it for me and we extracted. It's not the blueprint version but that doesn't matter, it unlocks for MP which is all that counts.

Can someone explain the whole jumping 'scene' in COD nowadays, is Fortnite to blame? I don't even know what it achieves, drop shotting is more of an annoyance. Maybe my old age is why it bugs me! Just seeing everyone jumping everywhere all the time

Also, can someone recommend thumbstick covers for the DS5? The standard ones are getting a tad uncomfortable and need more grip
