I have Nvidia panel set with gsync enabled and vsync set to applicaton controlled.
In game menu I have vsync on.
Same for every game, not just COD MW
On my monitor setting you can set OSD > refresh rate num.
This enables the monitor refresh to display in the upper right corner.
I can then see monitor refresh rate keeping locked to the in game fps. This to me show that gsync is working
This. I read many articles, some with differing suggestions but the majority was it leave it application controlled and on in game menuSome people say off in game on in control panel, and vice versa.
Whats the logic behind your thinking youdsy?
Some people say that vsync on in game actually have some "specific engine elements" which the ncp would not trigger.
Gsync monitors
GYNSC ENABLED
VSYNC ON IN CP
VSYNC OFF IN GAMES
Always been this way since the begining, same with my monitor

Are you sure this is correct?
In gameDo you guys use the frame limiter in game or RTSS?
That’s like saying if your car is capable of 120mph, but you’re only allowed to go 100mph tops then should you restrict it to 100.Just another thought... if I am maxing around 80-100fps and my panel is capable of 120hz, is it a moot point to set my panel to 120hz but rather 100hz?
