I've opted to leave it to do its thing, and it seems to burst quite a lot. Currently at 3.6MB/s (connection syncs at ~5MB/s) and rising, but I've seen it do this before only to stall out for a few minutes and speed drops.

The transfer speed in the client seems to be an average rather than an instantaneous measurement - I've noticed that when it stalls it says its downloading at 3MB/s or whatever, but the remaining data does not decrease at all and there's very little throughout showing in Task Manager.

Be wary of any fully free VPN. They have to make money somehow, and that might be by selling your data.

Look for free trials from reputable companies.

AVG 30 free trial VPN worked for me last time...then used protonvpn which gives you a 7 day free trial the after that the free version is limited to a restricted speed with unlimited data...maxed out my meager 35 meg connection through.

So before I threw in the towel I thought I’d validate the files, seems my download was messed up and I had a corrupt/missing file, it downloaded another 30 odd Mb and now the game runs.

Using AVG 7 day free free set to Canada mine has also gone from 100KB/s - 2MB/s to 13+MB/s

Your 40mb is a dream for me - max is 20 mb/s.

Move to congested area/city if you want full fat fibre (as in 150/150, 300/300, 1gb/1gb) not the turd Virgin media, Sky and the like offer

Fresh install of windows on new system,downloaded battle.net and its just stuck on "updating blizzard agent" and not moving,i read into this and seems no actual working solution?..ive tried what was suggested lol
