I've disliked the last several CoDs, especially the wall-jumping ADHD 100mph kiddy-focused future ones, but this one is brilliant. MP and SP are excellent, especially with Ground War, and there's so much customisation available.

Credit to the devs as they've done their homework because even the police call signs and radio comms are correct for the mission in Piccadilly.

had a big win at the bookies tonight (thanks Southampton for obliging on a 0-9 thrashing)....so bought it. Needed a new shooter fix now that BF is completely unrecognisable to what it was.

Really enjoying it, been a cod player for 15 years but hated the last 3. This is a return to great cod gameplay, boots on the ground. Fantastic audio, great maps and customisations, put about 5 hours in on MP so far.

tech wise running 980ti on 4K Oled tv high settings 70% render at 60fps locked

I mostly bought for the singleplayer tbh and jump in the MP to get my money worth I really enjoyed COD 4 SP and i expect this to be just as good.

Did they limit or remove the kill perks in Ground War for release?

It was the one thing I didn't really enjoy too much from the beta.

no not at all. They wan't to pool as many people together as possible.

They do try to put you with your own platform where possible.
They do let console users have aim assist vs pc players.
They do let pc and console players OPT out of cross play but they may need to wait longer in the future for games depending on how big the player base remains.

I have to admit though, I played against a lot of mouse players today, and it didn’t really affect me that much tbh. Was still getting the same kind of results.

They already said no loot boxes or season pass.
Battle pass is coming soon which will contain weapon skins and stuff. You can unlock skins via the missions tab in MP where you do a series of tasks and get rewarded in skins sprays charms etc for free

Sounds like your shaders aren't loading for mp

Actually this is great. The maps feel alittle bf4 and a little bfbc2 in places.

The performance on my ageing pc cpu seems OK. Although not tried SP or 64 player MP yet.
