This constant dicking about with weapons with each update is extremely annoying.

The MP5 has always been a strong choice short to early mid range people will be using it because its the original well known Meta. Monolithic, Commando Grip, 45 Mag, Optical of your choice and a recoil tape should give you a punchy easily controlled gun.

I appreciate that, it was one of the first I levelled up, never did enjoy it though - however, I've encountered more players using it in the last two weeks then I've come across in the 12 months.
All seem massively OP - which makes me think something must have changed in a recent update unless everybody has just switched because of warzone.

I'm running Monolithic, Commando, Tac Laser, Stippled grip and Collapsible - Tried swapping to the Merc, various stocks and ditching iron sights for a reflex and none of it seems to get the TTK down.

From the Kill cams you can see they are basically downing you in a couple of shots, faster than the AS-VAL often at better ranges than the M4 with instant ADS.
Can't believe they are all aimbots, or that I've suddenly got that bad!

I've never had an issue when I’ve encountered them in the past, just the last two weeks, very odd.

For the MP5 you want the integral suppressor, 5mw laser, merc foregrip, 45 round mag and then you can use either collapsible stock or sleight of hand depending on preference. Former gives more mobility and speed, the latter quicker reloads.

Not sure if people are using the CW MP5 though, there are two different ones now.

I've not encountered any big rise in MP5 usage and certainly not had any issues being beamed at range... they are rubbish past 15-20m!

With regards to crashing, not the same issue as the earlier post, but I as getting crashes in Verdansk map when throwing tactical equipment since getting the Battle Pass. Turns out it is an issue with the new CW operators and changing back to my old MW one fixed it!

I noticed this with the CW and MW AK47 too. Two different ones with totally different stats. One has much more range

Its also annying I cannot save custom blueprints of CW guns

Does anyone elses game crash if they try and use a Finn in weapon loadout? Try making one, close the game, re-open and go to guns. After 5-10 seconds it will crash to desktop!

That was something that came up as a common error when I was googling fixes for why my game was crashing. Disabling streaming textures worked for me for I wasn't using the finn, some people have issues with certain operators as well.

Watching streamers it looks like the CW MP5 is the one people are using now. Not sure what attachments they're running though.

I've been using a FINN loadout over the last week or so with no issues.
Another fix for general crashing & bad performance is to use DX11 (add -d3d11 in the game launcher). This fixed poor performance I've had since CW integration.
 
I saw a big mix of guns used yesterday, feels good to not see 90% DMR. The FFAR is very good, I'm using the Tundra too but still not sure about it, might go back to SPR or Kar98.

Managed to get 4 wins yesterday, even killed some hackers with a cluster strike for a duos win. I was so happy when I saw the stats after, 5.7 and 5.8 kd, one was on 22 kills.

5.7 and 5.8 KD doesn't scream hacker to me, lots of very good players are up at that level (e.g. ZLaner and Ayden)

Better to look at their headshot %
 
The weapon balancing does seem quite good at the moment. Just dont like the cold war guns that are different to the ones in modern warfare - MP5, AK47, not sure if there are others.

That and I can't save blueprints for cold war guns

It depends how they have the aimbot set, might not see many headshots. Also some either don't use the aimbot or have it only very soft, but still have wall hack. Saw some guys today who just knew where everyone was but they weren't snapping. I honestly just don't trust anyone, I think around 20% are using hacks or cheats of some kind. Sure there will be some very good players who have a high kd, especially if they get into bot lobbies, but there can't be as many as I'm seeing.

Or just buy cold war to save blueprints... I would like to think i wont be doing this but have thought about it!
Then i think "No, cold war is a terrible game" and change my mind
