Hmm I have read that. But one guy on the killcam had me and stopped when it beeped as I was 10 mins away. Hard to know for sure.

I was playing a game of plunder earlier and I couldn't land due to being shot out the sky by the same guy. As my team were in the general area, It kept deploying me at the same point to be instantly taken out by the same player. I think this happened approx 10 times and not once did I see a killcam.

i was thinking earlier that i miss gun game that was good fun

should bring that back as a permanent game mode !

Absolutely. We are finding ourselves playing more private matches lately of free for all, Gun game, Gun fight etc. Just a good laugh generally.

Its a good laugh. Just make sure whoever hosts has decent internet. My brother tends to host often but he uses 4g for gaming on and it is seriously laggy for the rest of us.

It's only kill cams where ghosted players show up. Run a heartbeat sensor for a bit and you'll realise its fine.

If you want to avoid the faff of using a VPN and setting up a new Battle.net account, then it's currently £35 at cjs-keys and they'll setup a battlenet account for you, otherwise it's £45.

If you want to, you can connect to Russia/Ukraine using a VPN and buy it that way, works out to £21 roughly but you'll need to create another account as you can't purchase to your UK account.

Coming back to MW multiplayer has reminded me just how mediocre Cold War is comparatively. Last few nights my brother and I have bashed out blueprint gunfights and the level of polish to the gunfeel is unmatched. Cold War is an arcadey throwback to the 360 noscope days. It's nice for a bit of nostalgia as a Quake 3 kid, but it just feels outdated.
