Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

HotFix for 461.40 (read changelog) so manual download and in the big Nvidia drivers thread.
Found them here but nothig specific for Warzone / COD Modern Warfare

https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforc...cing-geforce-hotfix-driver-46151-released-25/

The hotfix addresses the following issues:
  • [Ampere] Chrome/Edge may experience random TDR while browsing [3195894]
  • [G-SYNC][Edge of Eternity/Hitman 2]: The games experience stutter and low FPS when Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in windowed mode [200685971]
  • Wallpaper Engine app may crash on startup or upon resume from sleep. [3208963]
  • [461.40] LG CX OLED TVs (2020) are not recognized as G-SYNC Compatible displays [3244055]
  • [Surround][RTX 30 series] PC may display no signal message when enabling NVIDIA Surround [3230565]
  • On some Notebooks ‘Maximum Graphics Power’ information missing in NV Control Panel - System Information [200697069]

I know I read the change log but still best to install them if you are going to install the other one anyhow (I do not think it had COD fixes either.)

Using 457.51 here on my RTX 2070 super and they are perfect, super smooth and good frame rates across the board. I'll not be upgrading to the 461.x's again any time soon. High latency in games and a ton of issues that need fixing in the release notes

Latency in what? If you run LatencyMon with 457.51 then have a couple of games of warzone, whats the highest reported process latency and DPC routine exec time in uS?

Had a win on quads tonight. First game I had since last Friday but had a good squad on tonight, good Comms, stuck close together etc.
I've basically been offline a week as the girlfriend has been encouraging me to redecorate a room that was largely wasted with a sofa, PS4 and a TV...

Interesting test results.
Those tests were not fair however, I see you left the first one 41 minutes, then the next 2 minutes :D If i test for 5 seconds I get 200 :p

Repeat but all for 1 hour

460.89 just left in Windows with Chrome open, I get a max of 1302.510. I expect this is perfectly normal and would see the same using 460.79 and 461.XX

What is this latency thing you both are discussing?

LatencyMon checks if a system running Windows is suitable for processing real-time audio and other tasks

https://resplendence.com/latencymon

I noticed Audio pops/crackles and high latency in drivers 461.x playing Warzone and Red Dead 2. Changed everything including drivers and setting audio to 44khz, the only thing that stops it was going to any Nvidia driver prior to the 461.
