Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

How does the story go from radiation leaks, zombies, nuke then back to an 80s theme?? :D

If the map gets nuked and creates many different areas of rubble, leakes, toxix zones great. How about some water that can be swam in, like a lake that would be good. However, I invisage more zombies, which if this is the case everyone who I play with said they wont be buying the battlepass again or spending money on blueprints. People play Modern Warfare / Warzone because its realistic, play a zombie fantasy game if you want that sort of stuff

People are speculating that the nuke event will bring some sort of time travel element or something which transports us back to 80's verdansk.
Agree on the Modern Warfare comment though.

I dont understand why they dont just make it realistic instead of a nuke going off and things going back in time?! A nuke and a heavily damaged map would be enough and keep people happy im sure. Adding water would be great bonus (in addition to being able to die in 2 feet of water at port!)

Maybe the zombies will start to swarm over the map, more and more and more of them spawning as the players frantically try to reach an underground facility to escape to. In the end the government, realising that the area is overrun opt to launch a nuclear barrage to destroy the whole area, wiping out all the players who still remain on the surface , the underground escape facility has a portal to safety which is interferred with by the nuclear barrage throwing the surviving players back in time, or perhaps the scale of the nuclear barrage ruptures space/time and throws us back, or perhaps there will be no explanation for the change to the 80s and the event will just be that ever increasing spawn of zombies until everyone is overwhelmed and the whole map is nuked ( much like how many MMOs have ended their betas by creating an unlimited spawn of monsters until everyone is dead )

Sort of makes the end of MW/warzone season 6 storyline pointless when they deactivated the nukes.

I had read the rumoured Ural mountains map was to go with the release of Cold war and would release as Blackout 2.

Any fix for warzone stutter? I get around 140-220 on 1440p lowest settings with a 3080 and 5600x. Renderer work count=6 and Video Memory Scale=1.0.
The game is just not smooth. I’m at 144hz.

Video Memory Scale=1.0 ? lower it or delete the file so it gets automatically created and see how it goes
Well this was the fix recommend on YouTube for people with 5600x. This basically tells the game to use max gpu memory as possible.
In the beginning 5600x without these two changes gave poor fps in comparison to other cpus with more cores but in other games there is like 1-5fps difference between the 5600x and the 5900x.
Here is the video I’m talking about:

Everything is at stock. Only a fan curve for the 3080. And my gpu sits cool at 61degrees. 5600x goes upto 80degrees. Game is optimised to crap.

It isn't, it runs without a hitch on my rig which is similar to yours with a 5900x. Remove the worker count adjustments as well.

What's your network packet loss like? The game engine will stall a bit if that's over 5% or so I've noticed.

Packet loss? 0%. I’ve fibernet. Your 5900x will give more fps than my 5600x because this game is cpu heavy. So tighter ram timings and more cores will yield more performance. But fps isn’t the issue for me, it’s the smoothness. It doesn’t feel like 200fps. So that’s why I wanted to know if I should enable Gsync or cap fps by Vsync. But this would introduce input lag. And the worker count adjustments are necessary. Take a look at the video I’ve linked above. You might get higher fps than you already do.

And my theory as to why I’m facing issues is that I’m shooting well above my refresh rate of 144hz.

I seem to recall watching a video about high FPS stuttering and a work around but if I remember right, they had patched it.
I'll see if I can find it again later on.

Someone asked in another thread what settings im running, so here it is. Maybe useful for some.
