I used a guys video very similar to this to get decent frame rates on my 2060 laptop. Maybe 'lag' is the wrong term to use, but after I used a few of his videos, the difference in how the games plays for me ('performance') is quite remarkable. It feels smooth and I have had no slow downs, stutters, slo-mo massive fps drops since. I used to get those at the worst time... like when raiding a stronghold or something when the action really took off. In the middle of a firefight I would drop to about 7 or 8 fps and then a few seconds later, red screen, dead and all my good loot gone. Was so frustrating. Now, I'm still crap at the game but I'm crap with a smile on my face!

I've seen a few reports that people are leaving MW2 in droves lately and I can believe it tbh. The game feels totally stale already with a lack of new maps and I see there are rumours season two has been delayed and it's not even three months old.
They need to pull their finger out if they expect any kind of longevity. I'm pretty much done with it as are many others.

Stick with arma 3 and its mods for depth and longevity
I can fully understand people’s annoyance, especially when the game is close to £85 for the Vault edition and it’s the only cod game until late 2024.
They need to do something.
They need to fix the crashes first, now it's crashing on launch, which didn't even happen before.

It's quite poor if you're into regular multiplayer. I have no desire to touch warzone but it feels like the paid portion of the game is getting treated as if it were the free portion

Whilst true in some sense, there are a lot of people pumping money into the game who only play the "free" portion. Microtransactions are a helluva drug.

Totally agree, it really feels like they're taking the pee by using money made from MP sales and funneling it into the free-to-play WZ and now the DMZ games. If you only play multiplayer no wonder people are starting to quit the game.
Now they're delaying season 2 by two weeks they definitely need to release more than one new MP map, the current rotation is as stale as hell right now.
I don't understand why they don't have a reconnect feature. If someone DC's just prone the player until they're back. It's not a fix but would help a bit as it appears to be so common.
