I think it will, in fact that'll be the big factor of it, no more bouncing around running along walls, floating through the air or any of that nonsense. Back to basics in style by the looks of the trailer anyway.

Yep, do you have a xbox yet? I've been playing the old mw games and have really enjoyed them.
Nein, the only XBone exclusives I missed was Forza so just got that on the PC. If it does support cross play I might get it on PC though - someone has to drag your average down

I'd be using a controller on PC anyway though yeah, a cheap Xbone is another option. We'll see as more details come out about MP and how they'll implement cross play.

I'm hoping there won't be a huge emphasis on night vision on the multiplayer side.
Regardless, I would say this is the most intriguing COD and potentially a bit hyped for it here (probably a bit of nostalgia causing that). I think the only call of duty I've bought since MW3 was WW2 as I hoped it would be a bit more like WaW. It's been in its box after a month or so use.

Maybe. Or it may stop people from sitting in a corner watching the mini map all game. I'm fine with it as I generally play Hardcore so I'm used to not having one.
That's a good point. I've been playing hardcore mostly also. It feels strange playing traditional TDM now.

I might get it this time around. Never really played any COD before.
BO4 was the first COD game I bought since MW3. I actually really enjoyed it for the odd times I played it for an hour or 2. I only prestiged once, so didn't play it that often, but was worth the £30 I spent.
Ill get this one as if it lasts about the same sort of time, cannot argue for the money spent. Everyone wants a game that will last 1000s of hours and be the best game ever. At the end of the day £30 is a few beers down the local, it's not the end of the world if you only get 30-40 hours out of it!

I'm interested. Stopped enjoying after MW2, stopped buying after Advanced Warfare.
This is their chance to finally change the MP gameplay, and make it how the original MW intended it to be, before it got hacked and made a kids game. I won't hold my breath, but here's hoping.

Has it been confirmed that cross-play includes PC? If so they'll probably just separate KB/mouse players from controllers in lobbies.
It's been confirmed that cross play will let PS4 and Xbox and PC all play in the same lobbies. They've also said that for PC it will be like Fortnite where KB&M players from PC will be separated from console controller players. Hopefully this will mean that every game mode will have a nice number of players. Although 80% of players will still be on TeDiuM 
Cross platform is great news and I like the idea of pairing people based on input device.
I also quite like the idea of the mini map being scrapped, it ruins the immersion when you spend most of the time watching the top corner of your screen. I've stuck to hardcore since black ops I think. I also liked the barebones game type they made that took it back to CoD 1&2 style loadouts.
Looking forward to seeing some actual gameplay.

This will only work if consoles can deliver 60fps on Multiplayer, else PC will very much have the advantage.
