TBF this is the first CoD since MW3 that I'm actually looking forward to. There's just no way I'm ordering until I've seen some post release reviews of how online plays. The beta's gave us an idea but general release the game can play differently. More than that though, I'm waiting to see actual details on the season thing they're bringing in to replace loot boxes. It sounds like it is a step in the right direction from completely random loot boxes but I'll wait and see the level of BS that's actually in the game.

the concern I have with the battle pass system is the cost of it, it will annoy me greatly if it’s more than £10 per season to buy the pass as that will be on top of the 60 cost to buy the game.
I hope they award you CoD points in the BP (wishful thinking I know) that you can earn and then buy the next one like how fortnite does it, but this activision so I’m doubtful it will be consumer friendly

Got my digital copy downloaded and updated and region switched to NZ and ready for everyone to go to bed so I can play.

Well after 5 hours of MP I can say it’s the most fun I’ve had in CoD MP for a while.


Up to level 17 now and had a blast all night, yeah there’s the usual deaths but the core game feels great, I am so glad 150 health and specialist cheese is gone

Aye it's good, is TDM all 10v10 now? Are there no smaller 6v6 ones?

not sure, I’m sure I was playing 6v6 earlier but then it switched to 10v10 rather oddly

How does it compare to the public beta recently, I couldn't get into that, but could be that I've not played a cod for ages and I wasn't used to the controls and what does what.

The campaign is sublime

The single player is very good and the ending is fantastic.

I will say though that even on the second lowest difficulty the game was rock solid in some parts, like borderline unfair.

Screw a veteran run.

Is everyone elses NAT type coming up as "moderate" ?

Xbox One X, Wired connection. The Xbox network test in settings shows NAT type as "open"

Just competed the campaign on the 'realism' setting, wasn't as hard as the original with only juggernaut being a pita.

Thought about offloading it but will probably work towards some of the other achievements.

You’re a bette man than me, i struggled like crazy on the second easiest one lol. Realism seemed like it would be impossible at some points.
