Call Of Duty: Vanguard

The delay as a pc player in crossplay servers is tiresome.

Been like it for the last 3 games. Have to play crossplay though as PC only lobbies are dead :(

Some kind of packet delay by the look of it, which is only ever present in crossplay.

Just for a laugh, I got one of my xbox controllers connected up to my PC and played on pad for a bit. Wouldn't you know it - weird lag was gone.

OK I'm not so good on a pad but the fact I can match my mouse and keyboard performance when playing on a pad speaks volumes about how bad they nerf PC/ mouse and KB players in crossplay lobbies.

Not worth playing it on PC for me. Might as well just get it on console.

not experienced any of that on pc, normally come within the top 3 most games

Its been consistent for me. Basically feels like my screen is ~20ms or so behind the server.

Whilst there is occasionally some lags on pc only servers, this delay I experience on crossay is gone. And today when playing on pad its gone.

Very strange but I've now had it in MW, cold war and now vanguard.

I'm hitting consistent 120 FPS so doesent seem performance/bottleneck related.

I know something is wrong because I'm crap on pad. So doing as well on pad as I do on m/kb is just lolz.

When I do manage to get a game on PC only server it feels like a different game. A real breath of fresh air! But I just cba to sit and stare at the near endless searching for game message.

Maybe there's something going on with my setup somewhere. But other multiplayer games seem to run fine. Nothing I have tried seems to fix it. So I'm at a loss :(

Why not base it on real, way more scary events? Concentration camps, testing on jews the disabled and children, Hitlers soldiers fuelled on crystal meth marching for days having hallucinations unable to sleep... Zombies is just rather turd in contrast to real events! (if they're going for scary)

I would be way more scared by the Nazi human experimentation that did happen

well what you brought up is deeply unpleasant and is hard to poke fun at in a video game context…
 
No, of course not. But there are scarier things than zombies that could be done in a video game (without going too far)
That said, I didnt even know this existed. About to be incinerated at a concentration camp is pretty edgy.


Ghosts of Verdansk on the night mode around Halloween last year was certainly jumpy. Hospital / farm I had a couple that almost made me jump out my seat
