That was a waste of money then, did you not watch the reviews or try the demo. It's cod. Most people know what it is

Its COD, but worse than Modern Warfare in every way. The only reason I can see for buying this is to level guns (which I may end up doing when it's reduced) No doubt the WW2 Vanguard guns will be stupidly overpowered compared to modern guns in MW and CW :rolleyes:

Might give it a blast over the weekend. Is there any DL / installation required or is it already installed with the WZ package? It looks pretty ordinary TBH so probably won't bother if it needs extra storage space.

It feels similar to MW, just faster TTD. The issue you probably faced is you were paired up joining late with guys who have everything unlocked.

It's very fast paced and no learning curve

Agreed all ww2 guns will be meta for the next 12 months.

Meh, its free and I tried the beta so installing it now.
To be fair it wasnt that bad, but just nowhere near as good as MW. The game itself I was quite good at (when it was beta) the audio was shocking

How do you ignore the 'video drivers out of date' message? Can it be ignored and try to play anyway? I'm on 461.40 and find it works best with Modern Warfare and Warzone

There was a method that worked for Battlefield 1 but it was years ago now.

Here's a video that shows you what to do but I'd have a look around for a forum post discussing it as there will be a better explanation out there. This was the first video that popped up.

I believe it is quite short and as I don't do multiplayer I will wait for a price reduction, thanks for your input.

Thanks, I did see this and tried it but have no 'navapi64.dll' file in system32. It must be possible to bypass it as I played Vanguard beta on the same drivers I have now and it it worked fine.

Feels quicker to try the latest drivers and if you have issues roll back ?

Yeh, I normally do that - Macrium clone, then revert if it’s rubbish.
Will do that again later

I get what you mean though, I have updated drivers and then had direct X crashes during a warzone. One in the final circle and only two teams left. Very frustrating

Decided not too. I just wont play Vanguard, the open beta wasnt better than MW anyway.
Same happened to me, final circle and an updated driver crapped out. I was fuming
No crashes at all for months so im staying put
