Level 48 hunter - Kasim

Looking into maxing him then starting a new dude. Probably a guardian or healer or something. Should be a laugh either way.

im not 100% sure but if you use what they call premium services you can do things like rename charactors names and possibly move chars to different servers, but you have to pay

if you cant dont worry its quite easy to level up these days

ive been playing a few months on snowbourn and have a 50 champion (Colzie)
and a 34 Captain (Colzee) allready and I have not been trying that hard to level them up

send me a tell/mail in game if you want to join a small kin but good players who help each other out :)

I might just do this. I started a Minstrel last night because after actually playing the game for the first time with sound I loved the little sounds they made during battle and made me want to play one (sad I know). I spent an hour last night and left it at level 7 so not hard to level up. The main problem I had when I originally played, and even more so now, is that the Evernight server isnt well populated so not a lot of people about to play with. My LM is virtually stagnant because of that as at level 32 virtually everything is a Fellowship quest and finding people to do them is hardwork on an empty area.

So, if I can port them to Snowbourne then I will reactivate my LM and see if I can call on the friendly OcUK guys to assist me.
 
well snowborn is the most populated I think , and theres always tons of peeps LFF , Usually alts so they know the game, where to go etc and the leveling goes quick. but dont rush it, make sure you max your traits out ;) summin which I never bothered with and now im having to revisit zones to grind on greys :(

Cool. Will investigate the possibility of porting when I get home, unless Loki comes by beforehand as he is bound to have the knowledge and cannot check from work as stupid firewalls dont like that sort of thing.

My LM which is my original account is fully traited up inline with its level, but as I said previously because of the lack of support kinship wise I lost interest using him at level 32, so haven't a clue what stage I am at. It was a shame as he was a very fun class to play. Still, a change of server, some new friends might rekindle my interest in him.

At present I have started two new alts to spark my return to the game, always best I feel to relearn the ropes from the start, although I have managed to remember almost everything anyway since I last played, and enjoying it more than ever.

I usually play from about 10pm onwards due to work commitments and wife/daughter to entertain first. Are you likely to be about then, incase I do manage a server change tonight?
 
probably not tonight but my kin ldr should be , he is called erowin alts borgi or dalgar send him a tell and tell him colzie said you would invite you to the kin . if not pm falmond/ravanidir

I will be on from 9pm weds night though

anyway i hope the in game chat we had yesterday will have helped with any problems you had.

also incase u havent seen there has been a reply to your post on the kin website and an officer will be attempting to contact u in game, if one hasnt spoken to u and u see me online drop me a line and i will get one to have a chat with u.

im actually available tonight as for once i wont be healer in the wednesday night rift raid :)

They do, but my main account is level 32 and currently in the process of being ported over by the kind souls at CM. So, until then I will be mostly playing tunes to annoy goblins to death with my minstrel.

Loki, I still haven't had any contact from anyone yet. I noticed the forum post so was awaiting contact. I managed to get a lot done last night after I asked for your assistance. Found a nice Dwarf and Elf fellow roaming the Low-Lands that had basically reached the same location as me and we proceeded to get a hell of a lot done in 2 hours. Currently at level 12 without deaths so more than pleased with that.

Fingers crossed my Lore-Master will be ported by the weekend so I can get that into use and remember how to play him over the weekend and hopefully push towards level 40, so with any luck you lot will be around to guide me (hints ;)). Saying that, I was rather bored of the LM when I last played, so if I cannot get a good group going, or remember how to play him well then he will make a good mule/crafter alt for me.
 
ah right, last night was quite a busy one in kin land with it being one of the mid week rift run nights and once that finished i must admit i completely forgot to mention it to any of the officers still online.

i'll try to remember to ask one of them to pm u tonight, if i havent remembered please grab me and remind me to ask them for u.

unfortunatly just as u asked me for a little help one of my mates from the kin had just asked me to take her mini captain to the the middle of the trollshaws so she could do a crafting quest. what fun that was trying to stop her getting killed by just about everything (at one point i had to pull a badger off her before it mauled her to death :) )

As I said last night, not to worry. I understand that the kin comes first. Still, I found a couple of nice guys anyway, so all was not lost. I should be on tonight around 10-10.30ish until the early hours so I will give you a nudge when I get there, hopefully CM will have some good news for me regarding my character porting when I get home.
 
I have a life sub to LotRO and haven't played since the first 2 weeks after release! I take it the memory leak issue has not yet been fixed knowing CM? Why play this when the game freezes every 10 seconds, lags to No swearing - Gilly and runs at 40fps when i can play WoW at a constant smooth 60fps?!

I guess if it did that then I wouldn't play it.

I play it on Vista x64 in DirectX 10 FSAA x8 and it looks unbelievably good. Much better than most other games I've seen including Crysis (mainly because I prefer this scenery).

It also runs superbly. I don't get any lag (pinging around 30) the game doesn't stop at all.

I guess if you're happy with WoW and playing it at 60fps then stick with it. However I, nor any of the people I've spoke to on LOTRO, have these problems so I'd suggest checking your rig out.

I played for about 2 months after release and stopped because of the memory leak. I re-rolled a new character in Dec last year and have been having a ball as I am in a very cool Kin and all the technical issues had been resolved.

Unfortunately for me the memory leak and stutter are back since Book 12 and made even worse with the patch to Book 12. It is not as bad as release but it is annoying to crash when you enter the big towns after 2 hours of play.

Never had a problem with crashing or slow framerates even in Bree which is always the most populated of places. Enjoy WoW.
