Can I access an EXT3 format disc via a USB caddy?

If I have a sata harddrive formatted to EXT3, could I access if over USB2 on a XP Pro machine using one of these? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-001-SH&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=72

You will need this util to allow you to read ext3 on windows

Aye, if you can set up xp to read ext3 it'll be fine over usb. I'm not sure what state windows ext drivers are in these days, they didn't look great a couple of years ago. I'd probably choose to run linux on the machine instead, just temporarily from a livecd or similar in order to avoid the drivers

Hi

The ext 3 drivers worked fine last time I used them, which was about 6 months ago So I would give them a go.
