can i get a disciplinary for this?

Pretend you've been on annual leave for the last month and deny all knowledge, then break down in tears and confess you were born a woman in a man's body. Then look for a new job.

lol gay. Get a room and bum it out.

:D

Seriously though OP, do you work in a playground or something?? Unless something is directly said to you, why worry about it? You've now put yourself into hot water, and will have to do exactly as your employer demands - looks like you're going to make more enemies off the back of this though.

The irony in these petulant replies is staggering.

People are always slagging others off behind closed doors in the workplace, no point worrying about it unless you're not doing your job correctly and affecting others.

You guys don't get on and i assume this is apparent to other people. I can't imagine why you would care what he says if this is the case. He probably said something like 'back working with this guy ffs, this is what i had to deal with way back when...'.

What else is there to do but move on with your life?

How many times have you and him been reborn or are you both immortal ?

2000 years is a long time to have bad blood

This had me sniggering at my desk way more than it should've!

@OP, I'd say just ignore it. He's only a co-worker, not like him moaning about you means anything.

Oh, I'm certainly not trying to be petulant with my reply - just trying to point out that when [most] people leave school, they leave behind the tit for tat mindset, the name calling, or being dragged into such pointless events such as "so and so is saying things about you".

You invariably spend more time with work colleagues than you do with your other half, so why allow yourself to be dragged into a situation, with what sounds like hearsay [from the OP] being the catalyst to events  In this instance, it evidently has not benefited the OP in any way, and has in fact brought up a more difficult situation - get forced to cough who made the comments or risk having some official action taken against you; OP is now between a rock and a hard place in some respects, and faces having yet another work colleague look down upon them.

Can't believe no-one's actually asked what the "bad blood" is between you and said co-worker. Had he banged your wife in the past or something?
