Can I use my brother in laws Sky go to watch F1?

Been using my mothers for months now with no problems, I can watch everything on it apart from Sky sports and F1 because she hasn't got the package or HD.

ive been using my parents for 2 months or so and i dont even live in the same city as her and im not a sky customer at all.

My mate at work uses his dads to watch Footy at work so i think its quite common.

Sky restrict it to 2 devices to stop people taking the micky. Plus you can't get all the channels on Sky Go.

I use my sky go on my pc and ipad, the wife uses my dads sky go on her ipad and on my work mac. You get two devices per login but you only get one change a month.

You "shouldnt" but CAN do it.

I'm using a friends, works fine. The trouble is looking through other channels on the xbox I think I might just buy my own. I like the sky f1 and have been watching a fair bit of gold!

Hello Dannyjo22 I work for sky and currently have afew friends and family offers for

^ Hi Lew

What's that in monthly instalments? Just looking at sky myself

£20.25
Monthly
cost
£10
Upfront payment

Total: £30.25per month

Free •Free Sky+HD box
•Free standard set-up (save £30)
The HD Pack upgrades all Sky+ boxes in your order to Sky+HD boxes

Q: With SkyGo can you just watch F1 or do you get any gimmicks (camera angles etc)

Q: The other issue I have is ill be moving home in around 3-4 months time and the freesat (dish) etc wouldn't come with me as its gf's parents house. So no idea what charges/fee's there would be to get yet another setup :(

I'm not 100 % sure of what functionality we'll get with Sky go during the race.

I'll let you know in the morning, but i think its just the basic main feed :)

ohhh Didn't see that

They've got a choice of 3 on board cameras, the live timing, a pitlane camera and the main feed.

Have to use that next race, i was just watching through the sky go website.

Can you guys successfully stream skygo on HIGH quality using wireless? I have 50mb virgin broadband and can't, even connected using 300mbps wireless. I have to use it hardwired using gigabit lan or I get "buffering" all the time. Hardwired is A1.

I'm on 8mb BT and got once occasion of buffering on my xbox for half a second during the whole race :)

£20 for entertainment £5 entertainment extra £10.50 HD
so should be £17.50 per month I think thats correct

Yes.

but i binned the Virgin supplied router. I was only getting about 9 mb/s through a speedtest despite trying everything i could think of.

Used my apple airport extreme wireless, and was getting my full 50 mb/s :D

Run speedtest.net to see what speeds you actually get. I successfully streamed on high using works internet which is pretty crap.
