Can I use my brother in laws Sky go to watch F1?

Booked my install for 31st, had to speak to love digital. They knew about the discount so everything should be good.
 
Thanks Lew .. will sort this soon .. could use some f1 action in hd :) and i REALLY want to see season 2 of game of thrones when its out :)

Yeah that's what I'm thinking, either cancel and rejoin later (don't you have to wait a year normally??) or get one off ebay.

Normally I'd just suck it up and pay the £65 if haggling didn't work, but seeing as I'm barely at home to watch TV and have been on a few holidays/trips recently I don't really fancy giving sky the money (to put it nicely :)).

Will give Sky a ring tomorrow and see what they say, and whether threatening to cancel does anything.

Cheers for offer though Lew, may have to take it up on it at some point :)

Nope, on the Sky website it made me select whether I was in a house or flat, I said flat and got told I had to use love digital. I already have a dish on my balcony for free sat.

Not too bothered because they are coming round the first day I can do. I am getting excited about F1 in HD, as well as all the football.

Can't be live how awesome web forums can be.

Think its 2/3 months when rejoining. Good luck tomorrow. Just drop me an email if you require a code in the future. I get codes usually every quarter
 
I've just booked my install online. Had an email saying they need to call me to confirm some details. What might they be?

Result. I phoned them up today and when the technical guy said £65 was the best he could do I said I wanted to downgrade. Cue me being passed to a different department, spoke to a guy called Mark, explained my situation and he offered to send the engineer round for just £10! Winning :D

I think I know what it was... I chose other when it asked about parking. I guess they needed to confirm what I'd put. My install is on Friday cheers Lew. Looking forward to this... A year half price is great!
