Can I use my brother in laws Sky go to watch F1?

Lew, any chance of a code? :)

Email in trust and I will reply with what you need (on my phone here)

New customer. Looking to get a 1TB box if there's any discount on those with a code?

install booked for this coming monday, was originally booked for saturday but the online system must have overbooked or something as they had to change it...was hoping to record the btcc in hd ;)

Thanks to MissChief, for the code.

Ordered the entire Sky World HD pack for circa £31 a month :)

Was only going to get the basic entertainment extra & HD package for the F1 but the half price offer was better value (IMO) when ordered with all the channels.

When it runs out I will downgrade anyway, so I see it as 'making the most' of the offer.

Paid for the 1TB box too. After upgrading my parents box to 1TB, I could never go back to the regular HD box storage.

Awt for Nawt these days i suppose. lol

Was going to reply in regards to the OP's question but looks like the thread has changed its direction now into a Sky sign up thread.

I've now got access to SKY on my Xbox 360 so no more missing out on live races .. yay!

2 questions

1) If my XBL Gold membership lapses, do I lose access to Sky ?
2) what is the quality of the live broadcast like ? I had a quick look at the Malaysian GP highlghts last night and the quality was awful..

1* Yes
2* All depends on your internet speed. Some of the channels are set to auto quality and it takes a minute or so for the quality to buffer. If you have quick internet leave it running a few minutes and it should sort its self out.

quality should improve as it buffers think you can only have Sky Sports set to auto quality so if your connection slows then it will drop the quality to prevent any freezing.

cheers chaps - I have a Virgin cable connection and the Xbox is next to the router - I'll try hard wiring it to see if the quality improves

Quality on my Xbox was awesome. Easily comparable if not slightly better than SD

Cheers again Lew, all set up for installation next week :)

HD plus a couple of entertainment packs for £17 a month. Payed the one off for not having it connected to my phone line. Tbh for that price for the year, £200 a decent freeview recorder would have cost me that and I've yet to even use a humax that touched a sky plus box for ease of use :)

How much did the phone line free solution cost? And do you pay the installer or sky for that?

I paid the installer I think, £25 one off fee. I could have winged it and saw if they noticed but couldn't be bothered.

I have to phone them back on sunday because for some reason they have not given me half price on the HD pack, they gave me half price on all my other options though.

They assure me it should be half price but I need to leave it two days until every thing is on the system:)

Lew - just an update (it appears we've massively digressed) to say all installed - so thanks. Appreciate it. £31 for the lot when I would have been spending that anyway for the basic package+HD.

Just a update to say the install went fine, I have to say im really impressed with Sky anytime. Pressed download and was able to start watching the film a minute or so later.

Cheers!
