was impressed with everything but still have yet to play with the race control (red button)
and streaming via xbox
Just need to find race control gimmick stuff for laptop

Hope this isn't too cheeky, but any chance you could help get me my Sky box fixed? Phoned up Sky and it's definitely broken so they want to send out an engineer for £65 - only 3 months out of warranty as well grrrrr. Don't really want to pay that as I work away from home during the week and I'm usually seeing friends at the weekend, so I'm tempted just to cancel or pause my account indefinitely until I will actually use it.
Have a fairly decent account (Sky+HD + sports + movies).
There’s nothing I can do for you I couldn't even get my mum a free service call although she didn't pay £65 think she got it for £40. She had a faulty box so there wasn't anything I could do for her. If it was a signal issue or another fault I could have fixed it.

It's properly broken, tried everything I could find on google/various support forums (holding back up/2 arrow buttons on start up etc) before ringing Sky. Basically the box just has the orange standby light on, no amount of button pressing on the remote or box does anything, neither does restarting the box, leaving it unplugged, removing the viewing card etc.
Think I'll just suspend my account until I can be bothered to pay for a new box when I move up to Aberdeen.

Can you cancel and get someone else at your address to take out a new sub?
That's another thought, although I haven't found a house mate yet so reluctant to commit to cancelling.

Have also just done one for a Tom not sure what his username on here is though.
Alx you could cancel leave it awhile, then I might be able to get you a code at a later date with half price etc, Or you could by a second hand box off the bay maybe?
