But then your percentage is screwed, surely?
The polled forum would be all users of the forum, then your 78% would be of the people that decided to answer as a percentage of the whole user base.

For that to be the case you would need to ask only those who actually respond.
You could then say 78% of those polled.

At the moment in GD, those polled (by way of general poll in a thread) would be the whole forum who has access to the poll, you then need to factor in those that decide not to answer the poll. Thats how I thought it worked?

That's not what I said. Don't twist words if you realise you don't have anything to say. It doesn't mean they won't do well. They might struggle though as their IQ is definitely lower than average
