I have a higher than average IQ but found pancake funny. I best get tested again as obviously that cannot be right.

I am also going to write to Mensa to suggest they include the following question on their IQ tests:

Do you find pancake funny? Y or N

It's most definitely what you implied, and it's quite clearly a load of tosh.

So I’m going to ask, what have you done / what do you do which makes you believe you are doing well in life?

Or won't our meagre IQ's be able to comprehend your success?

Well the last bit was sarcasm. If you still find a **** joke like pancake funny though I suppose there's a chance you're a bit dense.

I do have trouble each morning identifying which sock goes on the left and which goes on the right foot, sometimes it can take me hours to make my mind up.

No it's not.

I'm going from strength to strength with my career, I'm determined to do well and so far have done just that. I've been happily independant from my parents since before I was 18 and have supported myself well throughout. I have a good set of friends who I see the majority of the week. I'm seeing a nice girl, as far as I'm concerned that's much better than the majority my age (as a whole anyway).

I started off with A-levels then got an apprenticeship in Manufacturing Engineering. Within 6 months I was running the largest capacity CNC machines in the company worldwide. Within 4 years I was in the top 5% of all machinists in the firm (once again worldwide). None of the machining I have done has been mass production (all has been specials/one offs) therefore I am not just a button pusher.

You are a button pusher though, otherwise how do you programme the thing?



I'll give you a shout if you want to work at RR but I'm not sure if they need CNC

as far as I'm concerned that's much better than the majority my age (as a whole anyway).

So why make a point of it then on a public forum as some sort of justification as to why people who think Pancake is funny aren't doing as well in life, just like why make a point out of being quite popular, what sort of extra validity does that bring to your standpoint?

The answer is none, quite the opposite is usually true, you usually find those who shout the loudest about having loads of friends and being popular actually turn out to have very few.

Yours is an interesting standpoint to take, because your posts are reading one way but you insist your are singing from another hymn sheet.
