Guru why quote
And But not make any comment yourself?
I'm just lazy.
The first bit I was echoing what he said. I too have moved many a washing machine in my car and none have come to any harm.
The second but I was quoting the weight of a washing machine from a site (competitor) that also sells washing machines as someone has asked how much they weigh.
Once the transit bolts have been removed, you can't put them back in again.
A bit of a flash from the past but can you fit one in a normal sized car with the packaging still on?
Well a chest freezer (small one) is 23-25kg i'd say around the 60kg mark on going how easy can lift (for me)
Bah. I can lift one (washing not hippo) and im avg size and build if not a litle heavy!
Should be fine, but only for a short spin.
One of the selling points of the new Volvo V70 is that you can fit a washing machine, in its packaging, in the rear loadbay.
The same as a baby hippo. They're ******* heavy!
