Can you transport a washing machine in a car?

Took mine to the tip in the back of a 5dr 1.25 fiesta

I did remove the 2x 7kg weights first though..

Yeearrpp, make sure you put a rug down or something, even when fully drained they seem to leak a bit.

I transported a old second hand washing machine in the back of a 2001 Megane a couple of years ago and it still worked perfectly fine. Replaced it last year though for a better model.

Anyway I'm not into car snobbery. Much rather own an older car outright that suits my needs then trying to look like a pretentious dick in the latest German model on PCP lease finance whatever.
