My gut feelling tells me though that this will be a dry race. I can't remember the last time we had a wet race in Canada.

Probably 1990, and that only started out damp. The year before that saw some actual rain during the GP.

You can look at it two ways - either rain is massively unlikely, or rain is well overdue!

I think if it starts and ends wet Hamilton can still outpace Button. It'll be different if a tactical call is needed.

The chassis can take one, it's a very complicated system they're running - not as bad as Mercedes' system - thats terrible.

They may be using FP1 to get the track clean and get a baseline - then run it in FP2. Who knows though.

Also - that close up of Chandhok in the HRT - was it me or was the paintjob/stickers alongside the cockpit peeling off? That won't help with the lack of pace.

Can't say I noticed the stickers,

apparently they don't have the f-duct with them this weekend at all. If it was ok at turkey they would have it here. Only reason I can see for not using even a half tested f-duct is if it did not work at turkey.
