Canadian Grand Prix 2011, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - Race 7/19

Are there rules against swapping wings between quali and the race?

Could they not have used the normal wing during quali and then put the rain wing for the race?

Parc fermé

After weighing during each qualifying session, teams are required to take their cars to a place in the paddock, sectioned off by the FIA, known as parc fermé; they may not do work on the cars, other than routine maintenance, until they are released from parc fermé for the race the next morning.

If a team must do other significant work, body work or suspension adjustments, the car will start from the pit lane.

Mclaren are going to look really dumb if it doesn't rain tomorrow, unlike them to get strategy wrong :p

Seems a bit of a needless gamble for them really, did they need to do that to beat Red Bull? Not sure they did tbh.

Webber without KERS and still got 4th really hammers McLaren even further.

That 'wet' rear wing better make a MASSIVE difference tomorrow or they will have effectively thrown the race away today.

Alonso is better than Vettel off the line usually... should make for an interesting race, particularly if there is rain... what time does the actual race start? am away for work tommorrow and might try and leave a tad early to get home in time!
