Canadian Grand Prix 2011, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve - Race 7/19

So is off throttling now banned after this race? This is what FLD is saying, but I can't find anything and I thought there was a jetting later in the week.

Are the Mclarens really further behind than they should be, just because Canada isn't the best track for the RedBulls, the car has been miles ahead, the biggest difference has been that Ferrari have an advantage here. So Ferrari's have moved up for me rather than Mclaren moving down that far, with Rossberg/Schumy having a better car than normal for here so got in and around Button.

I don't think they are going to be that hampered this weekend in the dry, its just likely the car isn't fast enough for the Red Bull as per usual and Ferrari will seemingly have the advantage.

Button seemed to suggest they aren't really setup for the wet anyway and the difference is minimal but who knows.

IS Rossberg usually damn good in the rain, which could also reduce or completely negate their usually awful tyre wear, Rossberg could be a dark horse for a very good finish if its a wet race, good in the rain, tyre wear gone and straight line speed advantage. Is DRS disabled if it rains?

Theres a TWG meeting soon, it may happen, but as HRT even have it now, the only team that doesn't is Virgin, and they have tested it but their exhausts kept failing.

Don't see any reason for it to get banned now.

The same could be said about the F-duct.

(Everyone had it by the end, but it was still banned).

Tweet from Jake

"Apparently from Silverstone onwards, a new FIA directive will require big changes to teams exhausts."

Anyone else have the picture and sound break up a few times during Qually? As it wasn't enough to trigger 'No Signal' I'm guessing (read hoping!) it was at their end not mine.

BBC HD on Freesat BTW.
