Canadian Grand Prix 2015, Montréal - Race 7/19

Oh just use ignore you old woman, the point was proved recently as I stated an airline pilot killed himself. As did that fighter pilot, sorry Frank next perhaps you could list a time frame for all future comparisons that suits your ever changing agendas. I used the recent airline pilot and then referenced the older article because I knew some pedant would state the German Wings pilot wasn't a fighter pilot. I was not expecting the date to matter.

Clearly out of work pressures are an issue in all forms of workplace/sport, you would have to be a complete moron to think otherwise.

It wasnt recent, and one example isnt exactly a high sampling rate either

By that definition im gaurenteed to win the lottery thia weekend

Does a fighter pilot go to work and have a "bad" day and crash his aircraft because he's letting his personal life affect his work life? No.

That was the statement Frank, which quite simply isn't true is it Frank. Yes or no will do and then you can move on picking other posts apart.

Is that statement true Frank. Yes or no.

It wasnt recent, and one example isnt exactly a high sampling rate either

The lottery has nothing to do with the statement of fact he made about pilots not crashing planes because of a bad day outisde of work.

I didn't realise in the world of Frank we now required sampling rates as well as a cut of period for validity of links. Maybe you could draw up an article with a set of rules and regs.

Second yes or no question.

People are effected at work sometimes by outside influences. Yes or No?

Just so I can understand what you are even arguing about.

You know you guys could just... not come in here.

Seems rather counter intuitive to constantly come back here only to bitch about how **** it is here.

Bernie the little troll made some reference to Hamilton being a hreat world champion, one if not the best, as he publicises GP so much. Rosberg hasn't german support, so there is no German GP now, and Vettel not doing enough to be recognised in the street.
The troll also said if riccardo has a bad accident, he'll be the one smiling up at the paramedic.

I hope the taxman properly catches that little troll.
I like vettel, he smiles he jokes, he gets on like a normal human, he does not adorn himself in massive earrings and gold chains and gold metal for the interviews he does.
Rosberg i feel nothing for. Fine, bernie doesn't like him, thats ok, but vettel won many championships and has drove nicely for ferrari this year, the troll shouldnt be expecting him to bling out, and soaz out to get world wide kardashian like camera grabbing appeal.
You want that stick beckham in a car with his wife as the exhaust.
I think bernie actually would.

Yep. The series which are growing or retaining great viewing figures have either been handed to someone else to run, or were already run by someone else.

I think F1 could learn from Moto GP's overall model including the idea of factory and open bikes (though clearly not bikes...) with slightly different rulesets to promote development, including a level playing field - look at the benefit that has created this year with Ducati once again competitive. Every race realistically could be won by 6-8 different people, whereas in F1 it's usually 4 at best, and even then only at specific tracks.

Or WTCC, or F2, or FIA GT1, or FIA GT3...

Basically everything the FIA run is shafted.

By the FIA or because there are so many more sports with more of a human element that fan's especially young ones desire. Rather than a sport where a driver is such a little piece of the overall lap time.

There's just far more choice and far better heroes for kids to follow. I have said for a long while as F1 fans have aged the young are not replacing them. Why would any of them want to get into a sport where the best car wins week in week out year after year. The cars are so far from the limits they never make mistakes.

By the FIA, because all the series that the FIA have screwed up with have been replaced by other series, rather than vanished. GT1 and GT3 have been replaced by the Blancpain Endurance series. WRC is being overtaken by national Rally series and the IRC. Same with WTCC where theres piles of other tin top series that are more popular with fans and manufacturers (DTM, BTCC, V8 Supercars, etc). And F2 just failed because there are already eleventy billion single seater junior series out there.

So nice little rant, but no, its not because fans would rather watch football :p.

Why do you get so butt hurt about Hamilton's dress sense? That is his choice who are you to say whether he is right or wrong. Do you actually know what Hamilton does for F1 compared to Seb & Nico? What evidence do you have to say Bernie is a troll? He might be making bad decisions regarding F1 but do you know him personally to say he is a troll? I don't like him either but I don't know him enough to comment further. Me thinks the warm weather has muddled you brain - have a cold drink and relax.

Some people don't like the "look at me" lifestyle. It's the same reason some hate gym rats or people with suntans, or people with extravagant cars...

I personally don't give a rat's nutsack how much jewellery people wear or how tanned they are. It's their choice and so long as they're not hurting me, they can carry on.

I do prefer the Ferrari Vettel vs the Red Bull Vettel. Not because of the winning but because he seems less of a corporate shill and more of an everyday guy. I think Hamilton surrounding himself with people just rubs people up the wrong way but he's using the attention to build a brand for himself that'll help him financially. Can't blame the guy really.

Anyhow... Bernie is Bernie. He will continue to make outrageous comments because he knows people will react but more importantly it's really just his way of playing a game. After all, if he said that and then Vettel went out and started getting photographed with some models and created more exposure for F1 he's happy! I can't see it happening personally, but look how he plays the circuits off against each other... "We'll cancel the GP".... A few weeks later they're paying more money to him to stay when in reality there probably was no real intention of cancelling.

You don't make billions being a no-nothing idiot. He's just got a backward or some would say, "outdated" view of making racing exciting. The show is what he's promoting these days.
