Canadian Grand Prix 2016, Montréal - Race 7/21

McLaren will never step up with a Honda engine. They would be performing better with a customer engine from any of the other 3.

this seasons a write off for us (McLaren)... well not exactly, it's a test year for some of next year, but with the regs and engines changing so radically in 2017 I wouldn't write off any engine supplier.

Verstappen proving once again how great he can be. Keeping Rosberg at bay and keeping the pressure up. Excellent driver.

I feel Ferrari have the car, Vettel is great but I think they need to get their strategies sorted and think it's time for Raikkonen to move over for someone else.

Last year was a test year for this year.

They said that last year.

The engines arent changing next year.

Well, yeah...

His job is on the line at the moment. With a new boss at Ferrari there's scrutiny on the top people and whether they can be replaced.

I know that, you just wouldn't see that at any other team is my point, there's something very special about the Ferrari team. If I had to be TP it would be for them easily.

you can redesign them and change the size of the turbo's etc. so yeah, the PU's can be changed.

The restrictions on the engine designs are the same as before, they are getting tighter and tighter each year towards a 2020 freeze.

They are dropping the token system, so rather than having to chose which parts you are going to develop you can develop evey bit your allowed to develop, but what you are allowed to develop is still restricted.
