cancelling Amazon Prime

Shared family plan with friends? Though I have a Spotify family plan, I don't ask anyone to pay for it.

Prime is also shared between me and my GF, it works out as fantastic value for us.

I use Amazon Prime for the free delivery, the streaming video service and the Twitch prime account. I pay monthly rather than yearly and think it is great value for money. Will certainly be keeping it for a long time.

I order so much crap off Amazon over the year, it's worth it just for the free delivery.

Some of the exclusive shows are pretty good as well.

I've had my prime membership for 2 years now.

I've made a lot of use out of the next day delivery - infact it's saved me a few times when i've had to order a few late presents for the GF's birthday/christmas etc. Knowing that it can come the following day certainly saves having to rush out and buy something.

Also over the last 6 months i've really started using a lot of the prime video, and i must say there's been some excellent shows on there.

I've attempted using the prime music, which i wasn't a big fan of, and most of my music is stored in Google Play.

Haven't yet tried the prime photos, as again, all my photos are stored with Google Photos. Although having 2 firesticks at home, i'm tempted to copy the photos over to Amazon, and could then have a slideshow of holiday snaps etc.

Besides using Prime for getting goods delivered promptly, we watch far more Amazon Video streaming TV than anything on Freeview, moreso the series than films (eg. Vikings; Black Sails; Bosch; Man In High Castle; Crossing The Lines etc.).

I can't post up how or where but there's ways and means of getting pretty much any online subscription account for a fraction of the regular price.

So using stolen/compromised login credentials in other words?

Of course I'll take that back if you can demonstrate how you legally subscribe to Netflix and Spotify for £2 a month.

It could be this, or just using another countries subscription, For instance a family spotify account in Philippines is ~£3.50 a month last I checked and these work world wide. Breach of T&Cs but much better than a stolen credit card type scheme.

You could be right. Not sure where in the world Netflix is available for the equivalent of £2 a month but the OPs reluctance to elaborate convinces me he/she is just using stolen credentials off auction/listing sites.

I know a guy who creates new accounts every time he needs to buy from amazon just so that he can get next day prime delivery free for a month

I did this for a while but eventually gave in, they don't seem to have any interest in stopping people abusing the one month trial.
