Can't afford school meals for kids, but billions for homebuyers, sure!

I assume you're posting on this forum from a smart phone or laptop. You're already in a more privileged position than the peasants you detest. Give up.

They should not be bringing children into this world without being able to provide.

keep a pet poorly, you don’t get money and food given to you, your pet gets taken away and maybe even jail.

children however...

Just a reminder that these school dinners are already free for low income families during term time. They've existed for decades but now people are losing their minds at the suggestion of providing them during school holidays during a once in a century global pandemic. Amazing.

What's your situation? Single? Living at home with mum or "paying your own way?". Answer me the question, why is your focus on low income families? Where did your disdain arise from? Are you not concerned with other areas such as foreign aid, absurd MP expenses, or vast wastage in the NHS?

I don't know much about Rashford but the way he's handling this is absolutely fantastic. The guy's more dignified than the government and he's a ****ing footballer! (No offense to footballers, but you know... :)).

Very impressive.

You use privilege in a manner which would suggest I am where I am in life by pure luck.

have house. Have job. Don’t have children.

I think I have made my stance reasonably transparent, but I’ll say it again, people should not be bringing children into this world if you cannot support them.

so to be very specific - my focus on the children of the very poor families - they were bought into existence from selfish parents.

Demanding I tell you my life position? You on the shandy’s?

Married, working.

You are lucky! You weren't born in a **** hole, wondering when you might next get water.

Then you're simply a delusional, hateful and spiteful person. I pity your wife. You've also been dim enough to allow media and online echo chambers to skew your view, that's a pity too. You're supposed to be a man, they're inherently nurturing and supportive of others, particularly those who are weaker. The only thing you've clearly excelled at is supporting yourself, congratulations you've reached level 1. Try better at life, you'll be happy one day when you do.

Well done on admitting that you think children should starve though. Top marks!

I never said children should starve.

I said parents who cannot support children, even with this countries current support, should not be bringing them into this world.

support and nurture by giving out handouts? That’s not how it works. “Give a man a fish” etc.

as single male the government would allow me to be homeless and stave before I get any support, no tax credits, no free meals , no housing assistance etc

I have to pay higher tax than most, the only discount I get is on council tax lol

and yep I'm quite fearful with my 40's coming quick and fast

Basically this. I don't think anyone should be surprised at the lack of compassion.

Society has spent the last 20 years telling young white males that the have white privilege, male privilege and that they have it easy.

They're expected to stand on their own two feet and if anything goes wrong in their lives it's all their fault and the world doesn't owe them a living.

People shouldn't be surprised when others come along demanding special preferential treatment, government handouts and freebies that so many now have nothing but disdain for the concept of state support been given nothing themselves when they needed it.

Call them gammons, incels, losers, etc. You reap what you sow...

You're chastising the children because of their parents failings. You said it right there.

Fortunately, your opinion doesn't account for much and low income families will still receive support at your expense. Must really tick you off huh? Slap your chest and remind your wife you pays your own ways, you're at the pinnacle old chap!

You’ve thrown around a lot of insults as well as a good few layers of sexism and yet try to place me as the nasty person?

I love the fact you slander the mainstream media and assume that’s what I subscribe to.

you think that your abstract sources of media are not agenda driven? That you are somehow enlightened (woke)?

the Russian bots have got to you.

It’s estimated for a single parent is costs £185,000 to raise one child until the age of 18.

With houses so affordable and the job market currently booming I think we can safely cut the total off there. Right, so how can the Tories confirm people have this amount saved before having children? Could be a great way to collect some more data.

About £850/m sounds about right. You’d probably want to have that available to you as disposable.

I don’t know why you’re saying Tories?

I would just like people to consider the life they would be bringing the child into before “sowing their seed” and then begging hand in cap “won’t somebody think of the children?!”
