Capital One Cup - Fourth Round 29/30 October & 6 November *** Spoilers ***

Milner misses a completely open goal "good try by Milner, just a bit high".... pundit/commentator apologists do my head in. No, he missed a pretty damn easy chance that yes you can obviously miss be it Milner or Messi, but to call it a good shot when you miss an empty net, **** off.

Really, with Cisse on since the start and Ameobi on for much of it... you're surprised you haven't scored. :o

Yup, even taking that into account I'm suprised.

Got to laugh at Cisse actually finishing a chance but standing offside by a freaking miles for ages before that ball came in.

That's sort of his trademark.

Mbiwa has just been awful from what I can see. Did he seriously just collapse to the ground as that ball came in after he had minced about while not marking anyone.

As far as I can tell, he's just horrible defensively, maybe as a footballer, his positioning is beyond abysmal. Some players really do suck for a bunch of games till fit but he's had quite a few now. You don't have a huge number of choices till Jan but I think Newcastle need to already be thinking about shipping him out even if on loan and bringing in a top CB. I think Colo, fit and with a top CB alongside him can become really good again, but one terrible CB will make the best CB alongside him look retarded. They play completely as a pair and everyone but Colo is ****, Taylor on his day can have a good game but even ignoring fitness those days are few and far between. Though I do find his "it wasn't me" acting to be pretty entertaining, particularly when he's handballed it.
