Capital One Cup - Fourth Round ** Spoilers ** [27/28 October 2015]

I would rather they stay in, but just use it for player likes Iwobi and Cambell etc to get a chance to play. But if they cannot beat Wednesday, then they do not deserve to continue on I suppose.

Wenger refuses to put faith in youngsters anymore. Even with bendtner who would be pretty much the last one of the younger players who got real time, despite a very strong goal scoring record Wenger did everything possible to drop him while in form and only use him due to injury.

Arsenal now, 2-3 games and you're out, that will be 2-3 games maybe not even starts and over the period from August to xmas, spread far apart, no form, no match fitness, arbitrary games miles apart, be the next Bale or never be seen again. Used to bring through players in such a better way. Now whenever some 16yr old looks promising from our youth setup Wenger goes and buys a 10-15mil 16-17yr old like Walcott/Ox and gives Arsenal youth players no chance at all.

3-0, very poor performance.

Annoying we're getting beaten, would have been nice to push for a cup run and the PL. It's only the league cup though so it's not too bad, probs better were out of it tbh

Even though it's only the crap cup, still a bad loss for arsenal. Hopefully will bring them down a level or two.
However, this so far is a nightmare result for José! Cup or no cup, he can't buy a win at the moment.

This is just poor from Arsenal, beat Man u, beat Bayern and beat Everton, now losing to Sheffield

Just because it's the capital cup and Sheffield Wednesday, Arsenal think it's ok to sit back, 8 regular premier league players, this is not acceptable.

Very poor indeed. Hew should not even have played Walcott in this game anyway or any first team starter. Rest them and give youth a chance.

Very disappointed with Campbell and Chambers. I would not mind if they were sold off. Debuchy should be doing better, he won't ever get his first team spot playing like that.

Disappointing performance tonight, fair play to sheff weds

Not too bothered about going out, could be a blessing and help us in the league

It is. The three musketeers (Sanchez, Ozil and Santi) have also had a night with their feet up and getting 100% for Saturday against Swansea, which is a million times more important than this.

Chambers I don't think played poorly last year with a decent run of games so relatively in form. Campbell has like Vela been bought, not used consistently, messed around, given the odd 10 min sub appearance here and there but not much.

He's a attacking player of the type who really needs match fitness and form, as such I wouldn't judge him too much on this kind of form. Give him three months of repeated sub appearances mixed in with some starts and see where he's at. Chambers has pretty much had that last year and didn't look at his best and now while playing here and there, he looks completely freaking awful. Not much about him looks like he can provide good cover.

I'd say this is where City screwed up with Dzeko, that guy scores, provides assists and was consistent. Even if he wasn't started in 10 games he could come in and get a crucial goal. Sub/rotation players who can maintain form without playing much are worth their weight in gold. Chambers looks currently (which is pretty young and inexperienced and could change) doesn't look like a good rotation player.
