Capital One Cup Semi-Final - 8/9/22/23 January *** Spoilers ***

Glad Swansea won, but Hazard didn't kick the ballboy, he hit the ball, hence why it came out the other side a little.

Yellow tops in my opinion, but no doubt it'll be blown all out of proportion.

Hmm... The kid doing this on purpose shines a new light on things.

Hazard still deserves a ban for kicking a kid but the kid should be banned from matches for a long time pulling a stunt like that.

When I saw it, it looked -very- much like the kid was slowing down play, which does happen, before Hazard tries to grab ball off him then resorts to shoving him to the ground. He had a hand on his back and was obviously pushing down. When he's lying on the ball as he fell on it, he gets kicked in the ribs quite powerfully. That wasn't a "poke", that was a kick and if an athlete who trains every day to kick a ball as hard as he can and as accurately as possible kicks you, that's going to hurt a lot more than a normal person. There is no way he could have reached the ball. He deserved a red card and anyone thinking otherwise is kidding themselves, that's assault and hopefully Hazard gets a similar punishment to Cantona.

How you can defend this is beyond me, honestly.

Pity for Chelsea that Torres wasnt going for the ball, he probably woulda missed :D

Pretty sure when Cantona got band for kicking that bloke who was abusing him, cant recall many saying at the time that Cantona was right as the bloke deserved it.

I would understand why someone might want to kick a racist or an ********, but you just can't go and do it. Cantona was punished because assault is bad mmkay.
