Really good performance but lacking the cutting edge in attack. We should have won that a lot more comfortably than we did.

Lucas motm? He didn't do badly but it had to be Can.

Lucas and Can were both excellent although both made huge mistakes in the last 10 minutes which led to attacks. Thought Toure and Allen were probably the best for us tonight. Tempo dropped off a cliff when Benteke came on for Allen and he still didn't chase down balls despite being fresh

What mistake did Can make, I can't think of it. Lucas played the crazy hospital passes first to Can then to Ibe that led to the attack but can't think of Can doing anything.

edit: re your ninja edit - harsh. He did, especially when he literally first came on he ran more in 30 seconds than he had in the previous game.

Just saw a vine of his assist. Definitely a pass - opens his body up and even looks straight around to Ibe. With that beard he's now the Welsh Pirlo, not Xavi anymore.

Can does some really good stuff then let's him down with stuff I see in Sunday league, like late in the game where the ball came to him at a difficult angle so he just smashed it into the air straight back to Stoke.
