Wood cost now has reached £200 not bad considering I just have to put a roof on it :p

Added further cross braces .Roof going on. Just sizing it all up at the minute. I also think I'm going to add an overhang tomorrow. I've got the roof spare and might as well have it covering more area than stuck underneath the sheets.

Currently Total spend is £418

have you factored in a little gradient in the roof so rain water will run off the back /sides(depending on orientation of roofing panels)? wouldn't be good to have rain dripping down at front of garage all the time

looks good so far!

Personally I would also pause and treat/paint the wood to death before I install the roof. Like, go bonkers with treatment, slap it on.

Also, careful of that overhang, as it'll be a wind trap in case of a storm.

Yeah the roof is sloping backwards for rain. :)

The wood is all pressure treated and tanalised.

I want an overhang so I think I'll over engineer it.

Looks really smart, good job!

What I really like is the variation in wood colour used on the sides.

Interesting choice not using featherboard / overlapping the wall boards, will make for some interesting leaks when it rains.

Shouldn't be too bad, might want to make sure you have a bit of roof overhang on the rear to keep water off the boards or just get some cheap guttering.

Looks like the front will be open anyway so exposed to the elements a little.
