I'm sorry, but what?!

Even if you were doing a silly enough speed to freeze the Speedo, i'm sure you would be dead.

Maybe you could leave a post-it on the dials...

"Please smash me and turn the needle back to 30mph"

I think you will find a lot of modern cars have an onboard computer that will log what speed you were doing anyways. They sure as hell wouldnt judge it by the needle though lol

How would they log the speed? How would they know how much you'd slowed? How would they know whether you'd braked at all?

I don't think you will find that TBH.
