Put the wrong driver in the right car and you'll always get that. I dare say that if you put me in a Lotus Elise 111R, said 'keep up with that 911', I'd make the Lotus Elise look like it handles like a Trabant as I went spinning backwards to my death after the 5th corner :p

Exactly the reason why I'm going to invest in proper training before I get the next (silly) car :) How some of my workmates haven't killed themselves driving how they do astonishes me  Mind you I had my moments in the first few weeks getting used to this car (a big step up from a tractor style 1.6 pug lump).

One colleague in my team has a Cayman S, another a Cayenne S (ugh), another a 944 of some description (can't remember). A few others have Elises. I feel like the pauper in the place but it's just insurance costs that are prohibitive right now :(

I missed a step out.

1) Get Rear Passenger side rear wing keying repaired (3rd September)

2.5) Post thread on OcUK asking for some PS guru to chop me some different colours onto the Alloys and chop them onto the car so i can decide whether to get them powder coated whilst being refurbed.

2) Get Enkei CTR original alloys refurbed
3) Get 4x Yoko Parada2 205/45/r17 to fit Enkei 17" CTR alloys
4) Swap 18" OZ off and fit standard 17" CTR alloys
5) Avoid Trees/Walls/People/Other cars for 18months
6) Sell CTR and buy ITR

LOL I was under the impression that you had it almost done to perfection already. Certainly looks the dog's danglies now :)

1. Fit Eibach Pro Kit Lowering Springs and Tokico D-Spec shocks
2. Fir a pair of gas bonnet struts

Was going to do a CAI but depending on cash flow I'd like to fit a supercharger so that would be pointless.

Although I still need to sell the old BM before I can go ahead with any of the above.

Replace indicator stalk as it's shorting out and contantly clicking which is rather annoying. Total cost, £10 :D

- Order new front tyres!
- Get my Milltek Cat back fitting booked
- Replace K03's with a K04 which should open up the door to 220 - 240bhp +
- Different remap to take into account the new injectors FPR and K04
- Retrofit VW Rear Parking Sensors

Doing this yourself? Useful mod, as I still find it a bit of a mare judging where the rear bumper is! Cue me looking stupid jumping out to check while parking in tight gaps :p

Yea, i need the rear bumper valance from the W8 and the VW Parking sensor kit, its a rear bumper off and plug the wires in / turn on parking sensor option in VAG-COMM job.

Only reason i want them is everytime i goto the lakes we have a very low wall in the drive when i've gone to turn around i've almost hit it twice!

That was a generic prevent rust. There will always be nooks and crannies where rust will appear. Inside the doors, behind the firewall, underneath the petrol tank. Its an ongoing battle that will never end. :p

That reminds me.

20) Fit rear view camera
21) Install flip up screen head unit.

Parking can be a bit difficult when you have scaffolding sticking out the back of your car that you can't see.

Will the screen head unit or camera allow you to flip the image around, otherwise I'm guessing the screen will show, for example, the right rear side on the left side of the screen? :)

If you get a rear view camera the image is already flipped.

Actually, I already have the camera, just need to mount it, feed it power and get a HU to display it.
