Considerably faster, considerably more thirsty, considerably more awesome. Mine looks like an M5 inside and out but there is where the similarities end :) The problem is I dont like buying cars more than 4-5 years old with 1 owner. In a years time or more the newest M5's will be 6+ years old.

Maybe you need more then one car, keep the 530i (or trade it for an SE touring) and get something else, like a Caterham or a Daewoo Matiz.

My list

1) Wash (how do I get half a litre of oil out of the carpet?)
2) Fuel
3) Service

I love my car, it thrives on neglect. I don't even mind that it handles like it's full of water, that entertains me.

Jobs for this weekend...

Oil change
Re-fit front bumper
Make a start on rebuilding my gearbox
Grease up CV joint
Rotate and re-mount rear shocks
Fit new bonnet and front wings
Remove, prime and paint fog surrounds

Oh, and give it a wash. It's been neglected recently.

Hmm lets see...

Volk TE37 alloy wheels
Mazdaspeed rear difuser
Bride light weight bucket seats
Momo Millenium steering wheel
Seibon Carbon bonnet
Seibon Carbon boot
Maybe some Carbon doors
Pettit Racing Supercharger + Induction sysytem + ECU
Greddy exhuast
And finally a full respray in white (maybe).

  1. Take it to the local hand car wash place to get it cleaned
  2. ...

That's pretty much it. Nothing I can do with it as it's a company car.

On top of my list was fitting Nitrons but I did that yesterday! They're absolutely awesome. The cornering speed now is frankly hilarious!
