*** Car Wash / Valet / Detailing Thread ***

I use the Meguiars Endurance High Gloss gel on mine. I don't bother with it over the winter, but over the summer it lasts a couple weeks before I redo it. The bottles are reasonably cheap and last me ages.

There's also the option of getting a 9L sprayer and just attaching one of those portable tyre inflators to it (if the sprayer has a pressure valve). Should be fine as long as the sprayer has a auto release value to release excess pressure.

as i said previously the 12L can be battery powered from IK sprayers, but the 9L version you cant, i like the idea of manual or battery, but i also like the idea of the the ones like the Karcher as its easier to store like the boot of the car or on a shelf indoors etc

not sure why you need a battery powered one have used a 5L garden sprayer for touchless and compared to a dedicated foam cannon and firing up the KarcherQuattro
it's a close call - used about twice as much touchless 100ml in the karcher, with quite a lot of overspray due to the power of it, but the less foamy output from the garden sprayer
seems just as penetrating, just pumped the garden sprayer once.

What is the recommended Wheel protection, between cleaning? I had been using spray on cheap stuff on focus but it has ran out.
On the previous car I used poorboys wheel world (pink stuff, going from memory), I imagine it would be a pain to apply on the style of wheels on the mustang.
I have used autoglym extra gloss protection when in a pinch before, again not easiest to apply.

I use the gtecniq wheel armour stuff, not cheap but does a really good job, might be a bit cold to apply at the moment though...
