Yep it's not great. Thanks I'll check it out

Also what liquid snowfoam are people using? I want something that foams well, doesn't cost millions and comes in good quantity bottle

This is the one I use on my Nilfisk. Basic as you like, but works like a charm - Amazon

£10 more than AliExpress, but you'll get it tomorrow instead of sometime in May.

It won't make mountains of thick foam for pretty Instagram pictures but it will do an actual job.
does for me, out to wazoo, but delivering it from a mundane 5L garden sprayer gave similar results, plus don't want to look too geeky to the adult neighbours.
(taking the wheels off the car for separate washing was already enough) - it is a strictly karcher only neighborhood though, the height of ...

I can't figure out what any of this is meant to mean

Depends what you class as "costing millions" a really good foaming... foam.. is Autobrite Direct - Magifoam, around £30 for 5 litres, 150/200ml topped up with warm water will foam amazing... a decent foam lance will also make all the difference

No it’s pants IMO. I’ve used cheaper ones which have been better

Thankfully it uses the Karcher attachment so you can get a lot of cheap lances which are decent.
If you do get an AVA, make sure you register the warranty. I didn't and now it's out of warranty after 2 years. Very annoying but they do have a very useful aftersales team if you need parts. Their spares are sold at cost and they also provide guides on replacing parts.

I've always washed my cars myself and I'm slowly getting into better habits with things like clay bars and coatings (other than waxing), but I've never 'washed' my tyres. I picked up a spray to dress them the other day. What's the process for getting the most out of it?

I've never specifically "washed" my tyres, a quick pressure wash when doing the rest of the car is normally sufficient. Then apply tyre dressing after finishing washing the rest of the car.

After washing the alloys.

I treat it as a last step, along with things like polishing exhaust tips, black trim gel etc.

I believe I did but very good point

Edit: can’t find an email, but I’m very confident I did

maybe expand your vocabulary "Out to wazoo" is a slang expression meaning "to a great or excessive degree" or "in abundance". ie lot's of foam bh contactless

maybe just post in normal English so people don't need a degree in cryptography to figure out what on earth the word salads you're spewing out might mean

That’s all I ever do. You could put a wheel brush to them, but I don’t really see the point. Blast with pressure wash and apply wheel dressing at the end.

If you want something that helps clean the car well, BiltHamber Touch-less is hard to beat. It won't make mountains of thick foam for pretty Instagram pictures but it will do an actual job.

Gentle on the car/paint too, but gets the job done. Nothing else is worth the time.

Bit of a shampoo fail today, bought some of the meguiars hybrid ceramic wash a while ago and used it today.
Assumed the little compartment of the side of the bottle was a measuring part, like they normally are.
Poured a bit out (not lots luckily) looked odd, filled up with water and started to wash the car, left a weird smear over it which didn't seem right.
Being a bloke never read the instructions, apparently the side compartment is just a SiO2 booster, that you mix in after! Ooooops!
