Happens week in week out but because a lot of players make a meal of it, referees turn a blind eye to it... There was another challenge on Paterson by a United player where he was basically getting a piggy back off paterson... Ref didnt give it but it's because Paterson got up and carried on battling for the ball... Dont see united fans picking up on that... Maybe just embarrassed to say they got beat by a team in the Championship

Bit like diving, Handball etc No excuses for them but i would say the vast majority of players do it.. Its the way the game has gone... Not good to see for young footballers just coming into the game

Rather than blaming the ref why don't you look at the poor play by the Man U players to allow City to score, who was number 39? Who just couldn't be arsed tracking Smith who scored, I'm sure Jose will make sure he never plays again. Bryan started the play at the half way line and managed to run all the way through without anyone tracking him. Woeful.

Before people reply too seriously to stig they need to realise that in his eyes every challenge on a Utd player is a foul and Utd have never fouled the opposition. This is a standard stig reaction.
